Health writer in need of work

I am a registered nurse and freelance writer. I am looking to become a full time health writer and copywriter. I have spent the last ten years as a hospital nurse and while I love my job, the politics of the workplace and the day to day stress is getting to me.

I am taking the plunge and starting my own copywriting and health writing business. Over the next year I hope to gain enough clients to cut back my day  J.O.B. to part time or maybe quit altogether.  Freedom Baby!!!

So if you're looking for a health writer, copywriter or health copywriter just contact me at s126shadow@aol.com.

I would be happy to assist you!!

Here are a few examples of my writing

The best way to lower your cholesterol is to lose weight. Being overweight interrupts the body's metabolism causing the body to hang onto too much fat. Following a low fat, low cholesterol diet and getting more exercise will help you lose weight and lower your cholesterol. Here is a guide on what foods to eat and what foods to limit:

Food you should eat

5 servings per day of a variety of fruits and vegetables.

6 servings per day of whole grain breads, rice and pasta. Oatmeal is especially beneficial.

2-4 servings of fat-free or low fat milk products.

6 ounces of lean meats or skinless poultry per day.

Beans and peas.

Nuts and seeds in limited amounts.

Unsaturated vegetable oils. But limit the amount of margarine and spreads made from them.

This is a sample from an article I did recently. If you like what you see email me.

I will quote you my rates in my email.

Another excerpt from a recently written article

Medications for treatment of diabetes carries risks. Oral medicines should not be taken if you are pregnant, have heart, liver or kidney disease. There is also the likelihood that oral medicines will lose their effectiveness over time and you will have to be switched to insulin injections. Oral medicines can interact with alcohol and cause you to feel flushed, nauseated or to have a rapid heartbeat. Insulin injections have a higher risk of you becoming hypoglycemic. This is a drop in blood sugar levels below the normal. It can result in you becoming nauseated, disoriented, sweaty and can even result in a loss of consciousness.

Being diabetic is not the end of the world but it does require some work on your part.
Check your blood sugar levels frequently. Educate yourself about all the treatment options out there. Lose weight, become more active and eat a healthy diet. It can make all the difference in the world.
