Yummy Nutella Pancakes You'll Flip For!

Ranked #2,976 in Food & Cooking, #58,903 overall | Donates to Squidoo Charity Fund

Breakfast was never so gooey and delicious.

This "recipe" is simple and easy and anyone can do it. Its sort of silly to me to actually call it a recipe because cooking is so minimal here, but I just have to share it, and there are instructions so we'll just call it a real live recipe. One of my favorite treats is nutella and if you love nutella too and look for any excuse to indulge then this is definitely for you!

So thank you for stopping by my little page here, I hope you enjoy your stay and please let me know if you have tried this or intend to or are a nutella addict like me, or anything you'd like to comment on, I'd love to know your thoughts.

Peace and happy eating!

I look for any excuse to eat this stuff.

(in Homer Simpson's voice) nutellllla. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Hazelnut spread with skim milk and cocoa. Delicious.

Okay, so even though I do try to eat a healthy diet, I do indulge and what's the point of living if you cannot indulge every so often? And if you're going to indulge, what better way than first thing in the morning with a decadent breakfast?

I say lets go for it.

Here's my concoction for the yummiest nutella pancakes:

Step one: Make pancakes.

I use a mix, of course.

So I like to use Krusteaz buttermilk pancake mix, just add water and you're all set. Put a pat of butter in the pan, let it get all bubbly and hot, then cook that batter. When the bubbles start popping, flip.

You could totally use waffles too, if you've got a waffle maker then drag that bad boy out and heat it up! Waffles just hold more nutella so I'm positive it will be a good thing. If you're more of a toaster waffle person then I'm sure that will do just fine too.

No time to make breakfast?

This takes under 10 minutes to cook and eat so at least try it. You'll be glad you did.
But this also makes a tasty treat any time of day so next time you plan a night in watching old movies, here is a great snack sure to please.

My favorite pancake mix:

For a "just add water" mix, you get light and fluffy pancakes that rival any pancakes you can flip at it.

Step two: Spread on some love.

Love in the form of hazelnut spread with skim milk and cocoa, that is.

I recommend using a big spoon to get out a good heap. Using a butter knife to get nutella out of the jar is too frustrating.

So use the spoon, glob it on, spread with the butter knife, then lick the spoon. Then lick the knife too.

If it sounds like too much then you probably aren't a nutella addict anyway and you wouldn't be interested in this recipe so hopefully if you've stayed on my page this long you're loving it and it sounds good. :)

Step three: Layer on banana slices.

Let's make it healthy.

Bananas are good for you.

So lets pile them on here, and you know you love 'em with nutella.

Step four: Pour on the maple syrup.

Don't skimp here, get the good stuff.

Have you examined the ingredients in pancake syrup? Rarely, you'll find actual maple syrup in there.

So I highly recommend buying REAL maple syrup. If you haven't paid attention, and you just buy whatevers on sale, trust me. Spend a few extra bucks and taste the difference real maple syrup makes.

You truly will be glad and you'll never go back to the fake stuff.

Here's the good stuff:

I hope you've enjoyed looking at my pictures of this morning's breakfast and I truly appreciate your stopping by to see what's going on here.

Nutella really is pretty much my favorite treat and I have a few more "recipes" (I use that term loosely) to share in the near future.

I ADORE Nutella! I'm addicted! My favorite it to dip strawberries in it. I bet the pancakes would be amazing w/strawberries instead of bananas if you want to cut the carbs down as well! YUM!

I am a very recent convert to Nutella. (How did I miss out on this for so many years?) I usually just put it on crackers or toast but will try it on pancakes. (I often make my pancakes thin and use jelly on them instead of syrup so Nutella sounds like another good variation for a snack.)

    Responding to the Nutella call!

I adore this stuff. Never thought of putting it on pancakes though.

If you are a person who would go for the quality rather than the price tag it has, you better check the Villaware Waffle Maker.
