Nutrisystem Advanced Vegetarian Diet

Are you a vegan? We all have our beliefs of what is healthy food and food that we decide we are comfortable eating.

This diet has more than 60 great tasting, prepackaged NutriSystem vegetarian meals and desserts.

The NutriSystem Vegetarian Program includes low Glycemic Index carbohydrates and yet are still below in fat. 

After researching online it is the the only prepackaged vegetarian diet program I found online. 

The vegetarian entrees are either ready to eat immediately, or prepare in just a couple of minutes in the microwave or by adding a little hot water. So,  now there is a great solution for healthy, balanced vegetarian weight loss foods.

Kim's Nutrisystem Vegetarian Cabbage Rolls 

Vegetarian Dinner Recipe

This dish, from NutriSystem member Kim, is perfect for those times when you're really hungry and looking for warm comfort food.

Vegetarian Cabbage Rolls

Counts as 1 NutriSystem dinner + 1 protein serving + 2 vegetable servings + free food

Ingredients
1 NutriSystem Mushroom Risotto entrée
2/3 cup soy meat burger crumbles (thawed, if frozen)
4 small to medium cabbage leaves
1 cup of no/low-salt crushed or diced tomatoes

Directions
Preheat over to 350 degrees.
Heat veggie meat crumbles and NutriSystem entrée together in a pot on the stove or in the microwave.
Blanch cabbage leaves in boiling water until softened but not totally cooked (about 1-2 minutes). Cool cabbage leaves under cold water so you're able to handle them. Put 1/4 of the rice mixture into each leaf and roll up, tucking in the ends. Place rolls in a baking dish and top with the tomatoes (juice included). Bake at 350 degrees until cabbage is done (about 20 to 30 minutes).
