Good Nutrition is important for Many Reasons

About 8 years ago, I started paying attention to
nutrition, and gained many benefits. Nutrition is about providing our cells with materials (in the form of food) to support life.

Nutritionists recommend that we eat certain foods each day, so we get our daily required nutrients. Like many over 40 year olds, I had a number of health conditions that improved, once I started taking the recommended daily requirements.

The health challenge that bothered me most, was the arthritis in my knees. After a motorbike accident when I was 19 years old, I was told by doctors I probably wouldn't be able to walk later in life. Once I started taking the right nutrients for my body cells, I found the inflammation reduced in my knees and they didn't ache so much anymore. Now, years later they hardly ever ache.

Another good thing both my husband and I are pleased about, is that we don't catch colds or flu, like we used to. I can't remember the last time I had the flu, and I only get the occasional sniffle.
So, good nutrition must improve our immune system.

My hayfever has cleared altogether, and I hardly ever sneeze anymore. It seems that good nutrition must assist in preventing certain allergies also!

A digestive disorder ( Irritable Bowel Syndrome) was also very embarrassing for me and quite painful too. And, this cleared up gradually also.

Sorry to go on, but I really did have all these challenges. There's just one more:-) I don't have a thyroid gland, and just taking the replacement hormones isn't enough. However, taking certain nutrition gives me more energy, and keeps my weight controlled.

With all these good things happening for me, I will always take good
nutrition
and watch what I eat! I hope this lens inspires you to eat a healthy nutritious diet also. I believe the saying "we are what we eat"!
