Your Intuition Is Telling You How to Eat Healthy!
Eating has become a seemingly tricky thing. It's ironic to think that we came into this world as babies knowing how to do it perfectly for our bodies, and somewhere along the way, we forgot.
It has to be one of the few things we get less good at as we get older! But our internal cues are there, underneath all of the advice and recommendations of parents, coworkers, friends, magazines, and other influences.
There are people out there who remain instinctive eaters - we call these people the lucky ones with the proverbial high metabolism,. It isn't as complicated as that.
They just simply continued to eat according to their bodies' internal cues. They remained untouched and untainted by society's message of health that tends to distort our ability to make decisions about food.
The good news is we all have the ability to be this way - we were literally born knowing how to eat healthy. It's the most optimistic approach to eating I've seen since it doesn't rely on willpower or control, but rather moving easily through hunger and fullness cues to meet our bodies' needs. It works with our bodies, not against them.
It isn't a new approach - it's been around for years. It's called many things: Intuitive Eating, Attuned Eating, Instinctive Eating, Non-diet, etc.
I call it 'genius' in both its simplicity and complexity. There are still people out there who don't know about it or don't understand its ability to change their lives.
But I will do all that I can to get this message out there. Normalizing the relationship to food can be one of the greatest gifts of life, as it allows you to focus on living rather than food/body/weight.
The despair of dieting and restricting leads to hopelessness. There is a better way, and I'm going to show you how.

What Do You Fear MOST About Dieting?
Do You Have to Give Up Your Favorites (Like Pasta)?
You don't have to say goodbye to food. You don't have to vow you'll only eat them on your "free" days.
Learning how you were Born to Eat means you eat what your body desires on a schedule that it deems appropriate, not the author of some unrealistic and forced timetable diet that's so strict your body will rebel against it with force.

Breaking Free from Emotional Eating

I want you to be free from the constraints you've experienced in previous diet disasters and unleash your ability to make good decisions for yourself, not because I guilt you into it or you force yourself to work against the will of your body and mind.
Think back to when you were a child. Whenever you wanted to learn something - like riding a bike - you practiced until you got good at it, right?
Eating is no different - and notice I didn't say, "eating healthy." It has nothing to do with making yourself choose the perfect foods. You'll discover how to listen to your body and interpret what it tells you that it needs.
Then you'll put those clues into practice until eventually it becomes natural for you to eat just the right amount of whatever you choose, each and every time. No rules. No restrictions.

When Women Stop Hating Their Bodies: Freeing Yourself from Food and Weight Obsession
Amazon Price: $10.17 (as of 07/19/2008)
List Price: $14.95
Amazon book review: "This book truly changed my life by asking the simple question, "Who says?" Who says that one kind of body shape is better than another? Who are these dictators to whom we give all power over our bodies, self-image and self-esteem? The editors at People Magazine? Our parents? That guy in high school? It becomes a ridiculous quest. Certainly, history has shown that the "right" body is constantly changing--should WE? Then the book gives straight forward steps to help dismantle our self-binding beliefs and to overcome the idea that food itself has power over us. I left this book knowing that food is nothing more than sustenance and a treat at times."
