Nutrition

Nutrition as well as nurturing are the both for which the infant needs for the three years. It will keep the health life long well-being. The main gift for the children is breast-milk. During the initial four months of the infants the only food is the breast-milk. Apart from that if other nourishment food is given it may cause illness and death too takes place. Through this breast-milk the child will get good nutrition. After four months the other food containing nutrition can be given little by little. But the breast-milk should also be given often. In addition to breast milk from 6-8 months some nutrition food should be given 2-3 times daily, from 9-12 months 3-4 times daily and from 12-24 months additional nutritional snacks offered for 1-2 times as desired. Feeding young infants needs active care and stimulation to encourage the child to eat.
