Purple People Eater: The Nuttiest Sax-solo Ever

I have been creating a series of lenses of stand out sax solos - the greatest sax solo, the cheesiest sax solo and so on.

I then came across Purple People Eater by accident and knew at once that I had found the nuttiest sax solo ever.

Nuttiest Sax Solo

Well the song has to be nutty of course - and the Chipmunks covering the Purple People Eater song certainly qualifies as nutty. So this is my contender for nuttiest sax solo ever. It's about 2:25 in.

There is a much briefer soprano sax solo by Plas Johnson in the orginal by Sheb Wooley. It's nowhere near as nutty but you can make you own mind up if you visit the main Purple People Eater lens.
