Big fan of this President, have been following his career since 2004. Nice lens idea.

My appologies. I commented a couple days ago about the lens and it was all negative. I was truely inconsiderate of the person who wrote it. I am negative on Obama because I really had hope that he would be a terrific President. I am sorry that my attitude about Obama's behavior against the betterment of our great country caused me to lose sight of all the effort this author put into this lens. It really is a great piece of work and congrats on this LOTD. It was very informative and well written.

Great lens and great looking book. Too bad the president supports abortion, infanticide, and now he is crushing are freedom of religion with his HHS mandate. This is not the change America wanted.

Even though I hate politics, I like Obama because he is a black president in a racist country. This fact is very important. I hope that he will put an end to the discrimination against blacks in his country.

Well done. I don't think we've had enough of the measure of David Cameron (the current British PM) to know him as well as this yet. British politics has always been far more stuffy. Well done on LOTD!

I think many of our youthful squidoo leaders are too young to realize how, in days gone bye, we celebrated Feb. 12th for President Lincoln, and Feb. 22 for President Washington - and those are the two Presidents in Presidents' Day. You, however, carried off your idea well.

Barack has several possible roots, none of which mean gift from god. "Lightning" (Hebrew Barak origin), "one who receives blessing" (Arabic), or "charisma" (Islamic Sufi tradition) are all possible meanings.
