Obamas HipHop Movement Started With One Prophetic Verse

Obamas hiphop movement started with one prophetic verse, and now all of America is saying "We need Change".If those who don't like hiphop would read some artists lyrics they may get a new idea of what hiphop really is.

All who dislike or refuse to "respect" hiphop should try reading some of the lines from a few of the "REAL" hiphop artists. You will probably be surprised at the depth of there verses.
I was listening to the "WHY" remix and realized Common (a legendary hiphop artist)started a Movement back in 2005.He wrote "Why do they think I changed for a girl..Why you worried bout my clothes if my flows gonna "CHANGE" the world?"That line is very prophetic looking into the presidential election.Mind you Barack Obama was still pondering his run in 2006(Obama announced his presidential campaign in February 2007)and the WHY remix was made in 2005.Common went on to say,and I quote "Why Bush actin' like he gonna get Osama..Why don't we impeach him and elect Obama?" This is why to alot of The True HIPHOP generation this is more than an election..ITS A MOVEMENT!!

Before this song I had never heard of Barack Obama, but after hearing that I wanted to know more about this Hopeful(and HOPE-FILLED)Presidential Candidate. There are many other "deep"verses in this and many other HIPHOP songs that don't have to be heard for you to feel. All it takes is time and you can have the ability to read great lyrics by HIPHOP artists like Common,Nas, MosDef,and many others.Rap is an acronym for Rhythm..And..Poetry find out who the "TRUE" poets are and you may find you have a deeper connection to a lot of HIPHOP ARTISTS than you think.

The Official 44th President Obama!!

Officially chosen to represent The Greatest Nation on Earth

The official 44th president of The greatest nation on Earth is an African American. Mr.Barack Obama (who will now be honorably known as "Mr. President")
Has become the nations 44th president.I will always remember the words being uttered through the screen that Obama had won the executive seat of the country. We the people spoke with one voice about one word...Change.Obama lead the movement as we drove an historic number of people to the polls to vote both for and against our premise of Change for this Great Nation.Positive energy and a "YES WE CAN" attitude prevailed.I must mention the words of a popular prophet at this point who Obama would credit as one of his greatest mentors.Dr.Martin Luther King once said "I have a dream that one day all people will be judged not by the color of their skin, but the content of their character".On November 4,2008 that prophetic statement came true.

HipHop Brings HipHope!(My Presidents Black!)

To Sit Walk Run or Fly

Jay-Z added a very reflective and inspiring verse on Young Jeezie's "My President is Black"remix. Believe it or not, even Jay-Z (Shawn Carter) faced problems with people's "view" of him. There were times when females called him "ugly", but now as he states it he "Got the hottest chick in the game wearin' his chain. From struggles to changes is not an overnight event. Both Jay-Z, and Obama jumped through many hoops to get to where they are, and they seem humbled by there trials and tribulations. They don't talk of their struggles, but those before them who cleared the path for them to get where they are.
My most heart felt words from the inaugural speech was when President Barack Obama Stated " This is the meaning of our liberty and our creed - why men and women and children of every race and every faith can join in celebration across this magnificent Mall, and why a man whose father less than sixty years ago might not have been served at a local restaurant can now stand before you to take a most sacred oath". To put that in perspective to what Jay-Z's reflective verse was, is why some who fall get up and others stay down. Now no one black, white,or even straight or gay for that matter should feel like a dream should die. In the words of Jigga "Rosa Parks sat so Martin Luther could walk/ Martin Luther walked so Barack Obama could run/ Barack Obama ran so all the children could fly so I'mma spread my wings/ You could meet me in the sky." Its all about what you will do when you want change. Will you wait to sit, walk,or,run, or will you spread your wings and fly like those who spark change did and continue to do today for all Americans in the most powerful nation on the planet.

Obama has a mission to make Health Insurance available to all U.S. citizens. 15 billion dollars of overpayments to insurance companies for Medicare? These are the types of "temple robbing"tactics that has been going on at the cost of the American citizens for far too long. I met a Friend recently that showed a way to help Obama get the Whole Country into an affordable healthcare program. Check Out His Video.

The Inauguration And Parties All Week!!

Lets Celebrate Martin Luther King's Dream Came True!!!

The whole United States spoke and screamed for change this election. The change that came marked the reality of one of histories biggest speeches. King's "I Have A Dream " Speech was one of the segregation era's most touching speeches, if not the most touching speech of all times. Kings dream of people not being judged by the color of there skin, but the content of there character was made manifest in the election of America's First Black President.

Impeachment

C-Student says:

impeached and imprisoned.

O says:

He should but they will never allow it. He's the true war criminal.

keitht7 says:

Impeachment Proceedings or some form of legal redress is in call.We must also realize that we knew Bush was a part of our oil dependence and "SOME" chose to trust his integrity...well now you know every war-lord "aint" built with Integrity.

No Impeachment
