Obtaining Coupons on Ebay

There are a surprising number of listings of coupons on Ebay where you can either bid on someone's time for clipping the coupons or use the buy it now option. While it's true that I could buy Sunday papers and clip coupons for myself, I choose to get my coupons online when possible. By getting coupons from Ebay, I can get multiple coupons for the same item without having to buy or obtain multiple coupon inserts from newspapers or multiple coupons from other sources, and it saves me time and effort. I get only the coupons that I need for products that I would normally buy anyway.

Although I do obtain coupons from coupon clipping sites online, I find that Ebay sometimes has coupons that are not offered by the other services, so I recommend a combination of coupon clipping services such as The Coupon Clippers and Ebay for maximum results!

One of the frustrations that I have found when working with coupons is that when you clip too many coupons from the coupon inserts of the local newspaper, you end up with a problem in managing the many coupons. I have frequently clipped coupons for items that I don't normally use, thinking that I might try the product or that I will remember to check my local store to see if this product is available there. The problem is that this usually doesn't happen, and I have lots of coupons to manage and expired coupons littering my coupon stash.

I have the highest respect for those who devote the time, energy, effort and forethought to doing extreme couponing; however, I am not in a position to be able to devote that much time. My solution is to make a list of the products that I normally use and find coupons to match through sources such as Ebay or coupon clipping services online.

Many of the products that you use on a regular basis go on sale frequently. If you observe the sale cycle for your items, you will know approximately how many of an item that you need to buy using a combination of sale and coupon to last until the item goes on sale again. You will also be able to plan the coupons that you need to get in anticipation of that sale.

Since you normally get multiple coupons for the same item when you obtain them from Ebay, you can use the opportunity to stockpile items that you frequently use or items that have a long shelf life. Items such as toilet paper, toothpaste, paper towels, cleaners, etc. are examples of items that are frequently purchased in quantity when there is a good sale and when you can use coupons as well.
