Dr. Laura McChesney received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Florida after having been a patient of chiropractic for over twenty years. The success she experienced in the treatment of her own debilitating headaches spurred her desire to become a woman doctor of chiropractic care. Though it has been a long road to reaching her goal of being a female chiropractor, it has only fueled her fire more to starting her own chiropractic clinic and helping others experience that same pain relief. She graduated with honors following three and a quarter years at Palmer College of Chiropractic- Florida where she was active in the student alumni association and various technique organizations including GRASTON and Activator Method.

Dr. McChesney is an Advanced Rated Activator Method Doctor of Chiropractic and a golf injury specialist who has a passion for providing her patients with a chiropractic wellness experience that addresses diet, mind and body. As a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association, American Chiropractic Association and Mid-Florida Chiropractic Society, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and pets, mountain biking, and softball. Dr. McChesney is excited to combine with Ocala Rehabilitation Associates, PA and Dr. Karen Hartsell, DPT to bring a better quality of life to her patients at Ocala , Summerfield, Vaughan Chiropractic in Trenton, FL and the surrounding areas.
