This lens was made especially for you, and at a great deal of expense and energy to me ... well, maybe that is stretching things a bit!
Have fun and please leave me a comment when finished.
What should Zut's Next Lens be?
I have several ideas in mind but I will allow my readers to suggest which I should do first?
Who or What are You Anyway?
It is my belief that you have always existed and always will. I don't mean in the human sense but in a cosmic sense. The human mind is limited in its capacity to conceptualize what life is all about.Consider a person driving a car - it is not the car that moves forward or backwards nor is it the car that arrives at its destination or causes an accident along the way. Neither does the car injure others on its journey. It is the person who is driving the car.
Now, take that idea and use it in conjunction with you, the human being. Your body is the vehicle but something inside is driving it - that something is your soul. It is responsible for where you travel and for any dents and accidents along the way.
Your journey on your road of life can be easy or bumpy - much of which depends upon the attitude and objectives of the soul within.

You haven't? Live under a rock, do you?
Here is something that should enhance your life ... at least for a few mintues.
Tomato Mush on Toast
Today, we will start with a Basic Canadian Dish. We'll keep it simple (especially for you dumb city-slickers).
It's my famous Tomato Mush on Toast. Here's the recipe (I've typed it slowly 'cos I know some of you can't read quickly):
Ya get yourself a large can of diced tomatoes (as opposed to carded ones) - then ya get 4 to 6 eggs (you'll have to judge how much juice you want, the more eggs, the less juice). That's the basic concoction.
To that you add the extra ingredients that you like - I suggest onions, ground pepper and some small pieces of green pepper. When ya got it all in a bowl, ya beat the heck out of it (make sure the eggs are out of the shells first).
Then pour it into a frying pan that has a small bit of oil (cooking oil, you dummy) and turn the burner on (duh ...). Place frying pan on burner and wait until the eggs, tomato and stuff start to come to a slow boil.
Now you're ready to pour it over some toast (I assume you know how to make toast). For those of you who find that the tomato mush slides off the toast - use a plate (shhhheeeeee).
Enjoy !!!

Are you proud to be Canadian and if so why?

Canada is a beautiful country from sea to sea to sea; but most important it is full of caring people who have the best traits of our cousins, the Brits and the Yanks, with the flair of the French, the pride of the Aboriginal Peoples, and the spice of immigrants from everywhere.

I am a very proud Canadian. I live in northeastern Ontario and it is beautiful here. I enjoy traveling throughout other provinces as well. My American friends tell me Canadians are thoughtful, polite and have a good sense of humour. I certainly agree. "O' Canada!!!"

I am proud of my home for it's relative peace and security, it's diversity with tolerance and acceptance of others. As well as it's geographical beauty from ocean to ocean.

Zut's New Cottage
(Note - We did buy a cottage but this is not it. This, however, is down the road about 15 or so miles from us. You might have to blow this photo up a bit to really see it but it is rather unique, to say the least).
Our First Visitor
Here is the 1st wildlife that came to visit us at our new cottage. It was on the back patio duirng a windy rainy day. Unfortunately, it died the next day.It was very huge. The question is: was it a moth or a butterfly? You tell us, we don't have a clue.
Sponsoring a Child in a Developing Country
There are many organizations which help feed, educate and provide medical services to poor children all over the world. My partner Jane and I do so through World Vision. It costs us very little money but rewards us ten-fold emotionally.
Zut Moon's 1st Ever Squidoo Tip
I am going to give Squidoo Lensmasters a tip? You betcha!Do you have an over-active mind that speeds down the Squidoo Highway at 110 miles an hour? Do you wake up in the middle of the night with a mountain of new ideas that you are anxious to share with others? Are you just like me? Well then, I recommend that you visit Dr. I. M. Knutts who is well qualified to help you. Seriously, here's the tip below:
Create a lens where you can write those thoughts that don't fit well in your other lenses. Call it something like Wild Thoughs, My Personal Musings, Brain Storming - you get the idea.
That lens will then serve as a Temporary Holding Tank. When you have enough material of the same genre, you can "steal" from yourself and place them in a new lens.
I wonder if Squid University has ever thought of that. I enrolled there months ago but got kicked out for being far too "smart" (so they said). I still don't quite know what they meant by that.
So I hope this will help you become a better Squidoo Lensmaster. If you feel you can use this exclusive Zut Moon tip, please let me know or at least send me a case of beer!!!
Thanks!

Southern Carolina Lassie wins Golden Heart
What a tremendous gathering we had at the Caribou Conference Centre. For those of you who missed it, go to the lens entitled The Golden Heart Awards.
The recipient who won the very first Golden Heart was well-dsesrving of it. The event was almost marred by Captain Zap who tried to insinuate that the recipient provided "special favours" to the judge. No-one believes it though because The Judge would never take advantage of anyone nor accept bribes of any knid.
There will be a 2nd Golden Heart Award given out sometime in July (probably before July 20th) as Zut Moon will be going on a World Tour soon thereafter. How could a mere mortal like you win a Golden Heart? You will just have to go the the original lens and find out what the criteria are. When there, you can also discover who won the very first one.
Proud to be Canadian
I am proud to be a Canadian because I live in the Home of the Brave and the Land of the Free. Oh hell ... one second ... some idiot handed me the wrong script.
OK, that's better. Canada is a mosaic of many people and cultures who live together in harmony. We are the largest country in the world and have the freshest, most abundant, clean air and water in the world. We are well-educated and well-taken care of medically by our government. Though our government sometimes can be ineffective or slow to react, it is not corrupt (most of the time).
Usually we only enter other countries when requested by them (Afghanistan is one of the few exceptions). We are seen as "peace makers" throughout the world.
The beauty of our country is diversified. From the Rocky Mountains to our 3 oceans -from the Arctic Tundra to the wilderness of Northern Quebec, to the fishing villages of Newfoundland - there is no equal.
Although we are one of the best countries to live in, we do have a dark side. That dark side is our inhumane and barbaric killing of baby seals for their fur. Luckily, the USA and Europe have banned importation of seal products. Please go to my lens The Canadian Seal Hunt and support the baby seals.
If you are Canadian, I invite you to go to a module further down below and leave a reason why you are "Proud to be Canadian".
One final thing ... in our neighbourhood, garbage is collected on Wednesdays. As Canada Day falls on a Wednesday this year, our garbage will be picked up on the 4th of July. Hmmmmmm ......
Happy Canada Day !!!
Well ... I know the Americans are going to have all kinds of 4th of July Parades, Flag Waving and people singing God Bless America so:Why the heck shouldn't we do the same?
Fellow Canadians - Grab a beer, raise it high and let's make a toast to the Best Country in the World. Canada, eh ?

- I DO live under a rock as a matter of fact, and hadn't heard of Jeff Dunham but I certainly enjoyed the video. I'm guessing the creature at your cottage is a moth. Why? I don't know, he just looks stubby enough to be one. I think you're right about our soul etc. Now if I could just get my husband, Mr. Math,Science, and engineering to grasp this... OH, and happy Canada Day!
