This Lens is for All the Coffee Lovers Out There
But, the nice caffeine jolt isn't the main reason why I'm willing to have to whiten my teeth almost monthly just so I can have my cup of Joe. Nope, as far as I'm concerned the nice caffeine buzz is just icing on the cake. It's the taste...oh and the smell. I just absolutely love coffee. The aroma is intoxicating. If you're a coffee lover, then you know what I mean. There's nothing like walking into a coffee bean store and taking in a big wiff. Ahhhh.
So, for all the coffee lovers out there, this lens is for you!

My Coffee Story
How I Became a Coffee Lover
I still remember my first introduction to coffee. I was 4 years old and sitting in my great-grandmother's kitchen. She was such a sweet soul. She fixed my first cup of coffee (about 75% milk, 25% coffee, and 2 teaspoons of sugar). I don't think my mother was too happy when I returned home from granny's with a caffeine buzz and a sugar rush.Ever since that day I have loved the taste and smell of coffee. Perhaps it is partly due to the love and fellowship that I had with my great-grandmother over our girly coffee concoctions.
I also associate coffee with my dad. I'm quite a daddy's girl. I always did everything with my dad, but every day, before we started our grand adventures, my dad would sit down, read the paper, and have a hot cup of joe.
The smell and warmth of coffee stirs up strong feelings of family and comfort for me. I also always associate is with being "grown up" since my dad, great-grandparents, and grandparents all drank it.
For what ever the reason, I'm now a full fledged coffee lover. I need it to start each day. What I think is really funny is that I never outgrew the desire for the sweet, creamy coffee that my great-grandmother used to make me. I always thought that some day I would change and like it black. But, I still prefer creamy lattes and cappucinos to black coffee.

This is the Coffee Pot I Own
Hamilton Beach 47454 BrewStation Deluxe 12-Cup Coffeemaker
Amazon Price: $69.99 (as of 06/02/2012)![]()
Called the BrewStation because there is no "pot" involved, this 12-cup coffeemaker features a thermal-lined insulated coffee tank that maintains the brew temperature and keeps coffee hot and fresh inside until it's ready to be served. Simply depress the trigger with a mug for one-hand dispensing--no carafe means no pouring, no spills, and no hotplate that can sometimes scorch coffee or make it bitter. With simple push-button convenience, the machine offers four brew cycles, which include normal, flavor plus, 1 to 4 cups, and decaf. For added convenience, the machine can be programmed for "wake-up" coffee, and its adjustable auto shutoff provides peace of mind. In addition, mid-brew dispensing makes the appliance handy for anybody in a hurry. Other highlights include a large digital clock/timer with blue backlighting, indicators for water filter cleaning and replacement, easy-to-view liquid level with measurement markings, and a swivel base. A permanent Gold Tone filter and water filters are also included. Housed in sleek black plastic with stainless-steel accents, the coffeemaker measures 14-1/2 by 8-3/4 by 10-3/4 inches and carries a one-year warranty.
Where do You Prefer to Drink Coffee?
Do You Like to Be Social With Your Cup of Joe?
I like to drink my coffee first thing in the morning at home while I'm warming up for the day. Occasionally it's nice to meet a girlfriend at a coffee cafe and gab over a couple of cappucinos. Where do you like your coffee?
