This Lens is for All the Coffee Lovers Out There

I admit it. I can't start my day without a cup of coffee. My husband would be the first to tell you that I'm unbearable to deal with until I've had my first cup. I'm totally hooked on caffeine. Without it, I even have caffeine withdrawal headaches.

But, the nice caffeine jolt isn't the main reason why I'm willing to have to whiten my teeth almost monthly just so I can have my cup of Joe. Nope, as far as I'm concerned the nice caffeine buzz is just icing on the cake. It's the taste...oh and the smell. I just absolutely love coffee. The aroma is intoxicating. If you're a coffee lover, then you know what I mean. There's nothing like walking into a coffee bean store and taking in a big wiff. Ahhhh.

So, for all the coffee lovers out there, this lens is for you!

My Coffee Story

How I Became a Coffee Lover

I still remember my first introduction to coffee. I was 4 years old and sitting in my great-grandmother's kitchen. She was such a sweet soul. She fixed my first cup of coffee (about 75% milk, 25% coffee, and 2 teaspoons of sugar). I don't think my mother was too happy when I returned home from granny's with a caffeine buzz and a sugar rush.

Ever since that day I have loved the taste and smell of coffee. Perhaps it is partly due to the love and fellowship that I had with my great-grandmother over our girly coffee concoctions.

I also associate coffee with my dad. I'm quite a daddy's girl. I always did everything with my dad, but every day, before we started our grand adventures, my dad would sit down, read the paper, and have a hot cup of joe.

The smell and warmth of coffee stirs up strong feelings of family and comfort for me. I also always associate is with being "grown up" since my dad, great-grandparents, and grandparents all drank it.

For what ever the reason, I'm now a full fledged coffee lover. I need it to start each day. What I think is really funny is that I never outgrew the desire for the sweet, creamy coffee that my great-grandmother used to make me. I always thought that some day I would change and like it black. But, I still prefer creamy lattes and cappucinos to black coffee.

I adore this coffee pot. I love the fact that there is no glass coffee pot to break and no hot plate to scorch your coffee. You can certainly taste the difference with this brewstation. I've had mine for more than three years now and I love it as much now as I did the day I bought it. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and makes a great cup of coffee!

I love my coffee strong, I alaways buy Italian espresso and make it real tight. But I only drink 1 or 2 per day!
