This page contains a short series of: Surreal, Original Paintings. These pieces pertain to issues that effect me personally, such as: depression and anxiety.
The series is called "Of Mood & Of Mind". It is still ongoing, kind of open ended. I completed the works here when I was down, or my mind is all over the place.
The reason I say this is open ended is because, I know eventually I will be: down, or upset; and will add to the series. But for now, the pieces shown here are the only ones to date.

The piece to the left is called "Mood Swing". This piece is composed of four 16"x16" canvas'. I did this piece when I tried to stop taking Zoloft.
Once completed I began taking it again. Why go through that when I dont have to?

About Me

I find my art is an outlet to deal with many of life ups and downs. Some of my more meaningful pieces, I would like for people to connect with them. Some how in the same way as music; to see that they are not the only ones who deal with life's struggles. If they want they can take it not for what it is; but for what they believe it to be. Others: I hope to provoke smiles, in some cases laughter. Or people can enjoy it just simply as decoration; as some of my simpler pieces are. Ultimately, I hope to continue creating whatever inspires me. To keep learning; to live my dream: earn a living doing what I love.
