Making the World Better, One Weird Way at a Time

I like the unusual, the off-beat, the different. And I noticed that charities I tended to lenses about were fitting that pattern. So I went to look for other lenses that featured unusual charities. I was looking for charities that had unusual ways to give, provided solutions to unusual problems, developed unusual solutions to usual problems, anything that appealed to me. Here's what I found!

Food For Everyone Foundation

Vitamin Angels

Operation Blessing

Los Angeles Nonprofit to design a 100 MPG car

Planet Gumbo

Asante Foundation

Smile Train

Child's Play Charity

Canstruction

Dog Tags for Kids

Soles United

Kiva

The Critter Connection

Matter of Trust

Pajama Program

Free Rice

Ronald McDonald House

Adopt a Donkey

Let's hear about your unusual charity or giving opportunity. Or just your thoughts on the ones you found here!

I love your lens. There are so many wonderful and interesting charities out there that I never discover so it's good to find a few more. 5*'s and I lensrolled it to my Kiva lens.
