How do you deal with office politics? What is going on at your place of work ? Are there groups ? Are you excluded because you are new ? Maybe there are elements of a shilpa situation where you work ? Are the people who try to walk over you just playground bullies ?I think they are. But they CAN NOT get away with it in the real world. NO SIR. I think it is really important to stand up for yourself like you would at school. Or if your didn't now is your chance. You have a second chance to stand up and don't let them beat you. There are many forms of bullying, especially for new starters, contract workers etc. The "you have already been shown how to do that" is a classic line used by nasty individuals who want to show senior members of staff they know the most. Really, this does not go down well with anyone in a senior position.
