While the game continues to feature the use of a guitar-shaped controller to simulate the playing of rock music, Guitar Hero World Tour is the first game in the Guitar Hero series to feature drum and microphone controllers for percussion and vocal parts, similar in manner to the competing Rock Band series. The game allows users to create new songs through the "Music Studio" mode, which can then be uploaded and shared through a service known as "GHTunes". World Tour received favorable reviews with critics responding positively to the quality of the instrument controllers, the customization abilities, and improvements in the game's difficulty compared with the previous Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. The boy bought me Guitar Hero as a Christmas present. Its like Dance Dance Revolution (my favorite!) only with guitars. I'm planning on playing this in my house in the middle of the night by myself in secret and then waiting until I get really good before playing with other people. Maybe this means I will totally rock at playing guitar for real.
I've developed a slight addiction to Guitar Hero. I completed the game in easy in 2 days :) Medium, here I come.

activision brought her out to promote guitar hero world tour. she is also a playable character in the game... i think. of course i was disappointed when she didn't give us a little treat by singing a bit on guitar hero.

Personally, I already had rock band. The fact that I'm not gonna shell out more cash for new downloads in Guitar hero when I can keep my downloads AND transfer my songs from RB to RB2 sold me.
