March for Babies

March for Babies 2009

http://marchforbabies.org It's America's favorite walking event! When you walk, you give hope to the families of babies born too soon or sick. The money you raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. And it funds research to find answers to the serious problems that threaten our babies. We've been walking since 1970 and have raised an incredible $1.8 billion to benefit all babies.

Ok. You've Got My Attention. But How Can I Be Sure There Is Money To Be Made?

Small Business Owners NEED You!

Don't believe it? Go to your local yellow pages and pick any section. Out of the section you chose, how many businesses list a website? Of those that have a website, how many are truly using that site to its full advantage? Meaning do they have some sort of newsletter, tip of the week/month, customer appreciation program, etc. Can you find them through Yahoo! or Google local? How does their site rank in the search engines?

Now do you see why they need you? If a business owner is smart or truly aware of the power of the internet, they have a website. Or, perhaps they want a website, but they think they need to spend thousands of dollars and don't want to risk that much on something they aren't familiar with. You and I both know better. We know that we can built a free website to generate traffic. You've heard of blogs an squidoo pages, correct? We also know that it's possible to build a simple website for a few hundred dollars.

What about article marketing? If you're like me and you either hate writing or simply aren't good at it, you can pay someone $2-3 per article. Blogs and squidoo pages fall into the same category. Heck, creating websites, performing seo, link building, and creating videos do as well.

If you find a business owner or website owner that needs a certain service and you don't know how to do it, find someone who does. You can make money helping local businesses simply matching them up with knowledgeable people.

Let's say I find a few websites that don't rank well for local terms. I contact them and I get several to agree to pay for SEO service. Well, I don't know much about SEO. What do I do? I find someone who for XX amount will perform the service for me. I raise the price by $50 and get the business owner to agree. I just paid an easy $50 and I didn't even do anything!

To really make a good side income performing these simple tasks for local business owners, you need to build a team. You need web designers, SEO people, article marketings, people to create videos, people to create blogs, etc. Look at different sites and offer to give people steady work if they will give you a good price. Pick your team and them start marketing to local businesses. Oh, and if you aren't good at selling in person or over the phone, you can get someone to do that as well. Just pay them on a commission basis. Each service generates a certain commission.
