You Pissed At Gas Prices Kicking Your Butt?
You don't have to feel like this guy.
Read on and I will show you!
Lets Let The Rest Of The World Get Pissed Off About Gas Prices.
Where Is Our Focus?
Yeah, this subject annoys me quite a bit, I drive a big truck with single digit gas mileage and it affects me in a big way.I do know that what you focus on most in life will dictate how you feel (and I'll explain what I mean by this in just a moment).
So I want to help you do something about it so that you can get back to enjoying your life, instead of worrying about oil prices.
And right now at least, the media can hardly do a news cast without reminding us that oil and gas prices are "skyrocketing" and then reinforcing how "bad" things are.
But you know what? They're only telling you one side of the story. In case you have forgotten, bad news sells. Turn on the TV any night and watch the news, and you'll be guaranteed that 80% of the program will be dedicated to negative things.
Bad news keeps people watching. When more people watch, the TV stations can charge higher prices for the advertising slots. The stations make more money. That's the name of the game isn't it?
Right now they're having a field day with oil prices that are seemingly ever spiraling upwards. But what I want to tell you is to forget about the prices. Yes, totally and completely forget about them.
Why you say?
Because you can't do anything about them Einstein.
Let the governments worry about starting up the oil refineries or creating hybrid cars, that's what you're paying them to do. Don't let the higher prices at the pump affect your weekend or your conversations with people or even thoughts you have.
Look, you have a car, you need to use it. So unless you're going to sell it and get yourself a bicycle, then your car's going to continue as your method of transportation. Am I right?
Sure you can try and save gas, go for it. That is actually a responsible thing to do. But what I want to talk to you about is not getting sucked into the B.S. of worrying about it.
About now you might be starting to think, "Well that might work for you Darrin, what about the fact that now I have less money in my wallet because I'm paying more at the pump?"
How Are You Going To Survive These -^#%$*- Gas Prices?
Additional Income?
See, the more you focus on what you DON'T have in your wallet, the harder it is to do anything about it.
In short, I will show you how to MAKE MONEY. I'm fortunate to be someone who can spot opportunities and then make it easy for others to take advantage of them. So if you haven't yet thought about how to improve your income, then maybe now's the time, huh?
Let's talk a bit about gas prices. The price per gallon in the US just last year was around $2.50. Today, it's hitting $4.20, with an expected peak by the end of the year at over $5 per gallon.
So under the old price, to fill the average 25 gallon car, it used to cost $63.
To fill that same car today, costs $105. Over a hundred dollars THATS OUTRAGIOUS!
Quite an increase isn't it? And that's why the news media's jumping all over it. Because they know that this extra $42 per tank could be hurting the average person and making it harder to pay off mortgages etc.
I don't know about you but I fill up my tank on average once a week. That's about $168 a month extra my family has to come up with a month and that is only my vehicle. Where am I going to come up with that extra money? Take it from my savings, retirement fund, NO! It is going to come from the entertainment funds and if that doesn't cover it whats next ...food?
I don't think so!
So that's just basic math. If you're spending more, you've got less to spend. Right?
Now what I want you to start to think about is what you could do to make an extra $42 a week.
You can't control the gas prices, But you can most definitely control how you deal with the increase, am I right?
So you can bitch and mone all you want about it and put yourself in a crappy mood. But that isn't going to solve the problem. Instead why not use it as the inspiration to make an extra $42, and quite possibly a lot more?
The Best Revenge Is To Make The Rise In Gas Prices A Total Non-concern!
Offset Gas Prices With Additional Income.
Lets face the facts earning an additional $42 a week is easy....you could collect aluminum cans for that. But the trick with being faced with the necessity of making the additional income is to not use up all of our spare time and only just covering the $42. We want to make the best use of our time with the highest probability of far exceeding the needed $42.First off go read my Free ebook on one awesomely easy way to make money. You are going to be delightfully surprised at the simplicity of it let alone the opportunity it provides to make a lot of additional income.
Here are some other things you might consider that I have dug up.
If you already have a business:
Good for you!
It gives you leverage like you wouldn't believe and much more control over your future, IF that is, you know how to market your business.
Have you tested different headlines in your marketing lately? Those few words at the top of any advertising you do. I know a guy that once changed a headline for a client and they got over 3,000% increase in sales? Now, if you're getting a conversion rate of 2% in your marketing, imagine getting 60%. That's what that little change in just the headline did. So do the numbers right now in your business and work out what sort of additional income you could be making. And if you're smart you'll research the internet and get lots of ideas for headlines you can use in your business.
How easy would it be to sell just one more of your product today and every day after that? Only one more sale. Do you think you could do it? I think you can. If you sell face to face, all you have to do is get in front of a few more people, or make your offer just a bit more irresistible. You could not only make an extra $42, but more than likely much, much more.
Maybe you use email to communicate with your customers. Do you have a proven minimum 10 day email sequence? If not, you should it will drastically improve your conversions. The point is, that just by adding another email to your auto-responder, or changing a few words within the emails your sending out, you could easily make an extra $42 a day.
What about Google advertising? Do you know that you can test 9 ads at once for free? Your market will tell you which ad they like most. Try this for 1 week and then use only the one that gets the most clicks. Heck then load up another 8 ads to compete against that winner. At the end of the week, use that winner, then load up another 8 to compete against the last one you used. Are you starting to see a pattern? When was the last time you did this? The funny thing about this is while many people know or have heard about this tactic, very few actually do it. It's called "Succession Marketing." Don't you dare even whine about gas prices if you're not even prepared to do this simple one exercise.
Okay so with those simple ideas alone, couldn't just their results make the price of gas a total non-concern? People who know how to market, know how to beat any price rises regardless of what it is.
So what if you don't yet have a business? Then just take a look at some of these suggestions.
My website is full of possibilities go see if they fit you.
Wealthy Ways 4 You
Have you ever sold anything on eBay? I know a guy that has a client that is turning over $100,000 a month on eBay. And the product is something you can buy in stores. It's not even a creative idea, it's just a basic product which the public wants, not needs. Understand this! They want it, but don't need it. Even when times are tough financially, people will still buy what they WANT. It's virtually never a logical decision, it's an emotional one. So what are you waiting for? Get some stuff from around the house, garage or storage shed and start selling it on eBay. Remember one mans rubbish is another mans treasure. Make a business out of selling it instead of storing it.
Go to www.clickbank.com right now and choose a product you want to sell. Basically there are thousands of ebooks there which you can sell. All the work's been done for you, all you have to do is get people to check out the website. Which means traffic right?
How can you get traffic to your website. The easiest way is to have someone else do it for you. Check out www.sitepoint.com and click on "marketplace" and then click on "Content for sale." You'll find people there who for around $77 will create a 30 second commercial for you and put it on YouTube.com they will even optimise with keywords etc. For just $77, that's about 2 cents a day. Talk about cheap. That will help you get traffic for free. The ad this company creates for you will advertise the product you choose on Clickbank, and you should get around 50% of each sale. Hows that for good business?
Not only that but you can buy very cheaply, all kinds of other money making tools there. As I look at it right now I can see 15 private label products for $77. Meaning you can own 15 ebooks and all their marketing material, and this time you will not have to split the sales with anyone. You keep 100% of the sale price. Use the same marketing technique I recommended earlier. One $50 sale a week covers your additional gas cost and then some!
Check out this example.
Do you think famous quotes sell? There are book shelves loaded with quotes from famous people. They're inspiring. Well for $25 on the same site above, you can own over 41,000 of them. Then what if you were to set up a website using www.bigpixie.com and offer 5 inspirational quotes a day for one year for just $1. Do you think you could get a few buyers at $1 in order to receive 5 famous quotes a day? Absolutely, who couldn't? With only 30 people a week, you could forget about your gas price increases. What's even better is that you could offer to give them all the quotes right now in one big batch for just $5. 41,000 quotes for $5? If someone is interested in this topic, then $5 is nothing to come up with. You say well I bought it for $25 and I am selling it at $5 what gives? The deal here is to make it a no brainier most anyone will buy at $5 and you only have to find 6 people to make a profit. This is in a market place with Billions of potential customers. Now you get it don't you!
Look, I could go on and on, but I think you are starting to get my point? Completely FORGET about the gas prices, and FOCUS on the solution.
Any one of the ideas above could not only make any gas price increases now or in the future, completely obsolete, plus actually make you serious extra income.
Start now by reading Make Money Online For Newbies its totally free so what do you have to lose? I am not even going to ask for your email address. I just want to help you anyway I can. One of the best things about it is that it is written so that total beginners can follow along yet experienced marketers will pick up a few nuggets too.
In closing realize that you'll never hear about this in the media. You know why? Because it totally neutralizes their sensationalized little gas price stories, and those little stories are making them good money. So why would they change? They won't which means what? ........ You have to.
Now it's time for you to begin making some money. Start a business. Launch an idea or two. Try one of the things I've mentioned above but the very first thing to do is
Go read the Free ebook you will not be disappointed. Then explore the other opportunitys.
Get in the game!
Higher gas prices are here to stay. Know they don't have to affect your life or your attitude, no matter how they affect other people. Realize you CAN do something about it, armed with these marketing strategies you will always and forevermore be able to produce additional income.
If this helps hit me with a comment.
Wishing success to all,
