O Gauge is also known as 0 Scale, originally (zero scale) because it is smaller than 1 Scale. It's one of the more commonly used scales for model railroading, and is based on 1:43 scale. It may also be found in 1:45, or 1:48 scale. It is double the size of the more commonly used HO Scale.
