Hi welcome to our lens! We are Mel and Caroline and this lens is about various things we see and discover on our art trips and travels. We both work in the arts and we are also both (very part-time) artists.

Meant to comment on the "Breakin Convention" pic when I wrote my last blurb. I'm into "Mandala At" and I was struck by the wonderful shape of the prone dancers. The figure in the centre of the mandala is in the foetal position and surrounded by inert but protective dancers who have shaped themselves radiating outwards, except for the space at the back of the stage away from the audience. Revealing and somehow pure with a feeling of suspended animation.

Interesting site, love the squid,is it just me or is their something slightly rude about what looks like lots of bare legs waving in the air & no knickers Ah So what fun
