    We have seen okapis at the Metro Zoo in Miami. What fascinating ruminants they are! We can hardly wait to go back to observe them again in light of all the information we have learned from this lens. My daughter became so fascinated with okapis that she made cookies shaped like okapis from molasses cookie dough and then used white frosting to create the stripes.

    Okay, I guess I was the last person in the world to find out the Okapi can clean it's own ears with it's 14 inch tongue! I had never heard of them before and am fascinated!

    Wow, I wonder if Steven Tyler has some Okapi in his blood! Anyway, they are beautiful and goofy looking at the same time. Enjoyed learning more about them.

    What an amazing sight, I love unusual, interesting and rare animals. Why can't more people revel in the beauty of the natural world, appreciate and preserve with what we live. Very nice

    You have to close your eyes and look again. The Okapi is like a mix of many animals. God has humor.

    I had never heard of an Okapi until my 8 yr old grandson taught me about them. Since then I keep seeing or hearing the name. Isn't that funny how that happens. I really enjoyed this lens and learning more about the Okapi and will share this with my grandson.
