Old Coca Cola Commercials - Coke Memorabilia
I'm old enough to remember nearly every one of these old Coca Cola commercials. In fact, I can still sing along to almost all of them, too.
I must not be alone in thinking these were iconic commercials back in the 70s and 80s because they're still available on YouTube and they have plenty of views.

Favorite Coca Cola Commercials
I've left "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing" at the top of this list - although we'll see if it remains in that position over time. I can sing this one without even playing the song or the video. If I close my eyes, I can still see it coming on the television and I can hear my sister and brothers and I softly singing along.

I know my husband still has a six pack of the old Coca Cola bottles sitting in our garage. They're empty, of course, but the size of the bottles is enchanting. I recall drinking Coke out of bottles, although my kids think that's amazing since only certain special sodas come in bottles today. They've never seen Coke in anything but a can or a plastic container.
My grandfather owned a small gas station and corner store before I was born. My father grew up in the house above the store (I don't think you can even legally live above a gas station today!) and he has had some Coca Cola collectibles for quite some time that were passed to him from his father.
My Favorite Coca Cola Commercial
Without a doubt, my favorite commercial has to be the one where everyone sings "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing...". Once you've heard the tune, it will stick with you.
Replays of Coke Commercials
Holidays
Over the past winter, some of those old Coke commercials were replaying on the air and my kids began humming the old favorite tunes periodically. To them, these are new commercials - rather kitschy and cool. They think they've discovered them. I didn't have the heart to tell them just how old they were.
Coca Cola Polar Bears
I'm not sure why Coke relates to polar bears exactly, but they sure are cute.

- Well, I am a huge Diet Coke fan and the commercial could be the reason why. What a great commercial! The "Mean Joe Green" one was my favorite as a kid. This was fun! Thanks for the memories!
