Niagara Falls, USA & Canada - Some Vintage Postcards
Situated on the USA-Canada border, the Falls at Niagara are one of the most famous and most-visited beauty spots in North America, with around 25 million visitors per annum. The Niagara River drains Lake Erie into Lake Ontario at this point, running through the Niagara Gorge, with the Falls at the southern end. There are spectacular views from both the US and Canadian sides, both of which have been developed with the tourist in mind, so that there are many attractions, some old, some new, whereby the visitor can experience this wonder of nature. The immensity of the volume of water plunging down from the brink above, within a few feet of where you stand, amazes one in any effort to arrive at a proper conception of the mighty power represented."

- What a great idea to make lenses of old postcards! These brought back memories - not that I was around at the turn of the 1900s, but I remember seeing postcards like these in my grandparents' house.
