Too Old To Date?

How old is too old to date? If you're very young you might think it's anything over 40 - or even 30. But you know what? As you get older, the barrier moves (like many others)! And if you are in your 40s or 50s, you may be rather unhappy to know that some of the dating sites class you as "seniors" - already.

I'm in my late forties and I'm often surprised how many of my single friends have given up on dating and relationships. While there are some who are out there, most are either passively hoping someone nice will come along and fall at their feet without any work on their part, or they have given up completely, say that relationships are too much trouble and they are happier alone/with mother/with the cat.

But not everybody has this attitude. As you might expect, sites that focus around the boomer age group assume that everybody who is single is out there dating.
