I love the antique/reto candy dishes on your lens! It's fun to remember that people liked candy 100, 200+ years ago and keeping candy in a china/glass dish is much more interesting than keeping them in a plastic bag. Bring back the china/glass candy dish! I love your lens - I've just featured it on my lens about making cookies/cakes with Whoppers (http://www.squidoo.com/reese-whopper-cupcake-recipes). Thanks for sharing!

Now an adult I've always preferred the "cheap" kids candy

Ah, a flashback for me! I'm thinking those colorful dots on a sheet of paper along with the candy necklaces!

Wow! Talk about a trip down memory lane. I remember almost all of these. We didn't get candy often. My mom usually bought it and brought it home, because we would stand for hours trying to decide what to spend our dime on. Thumbs up!

I'm fascinated by the candy cigarettes. I remember those from when I was a kid. Do they still make them?

I have fond memories of penny candy. We used to get the little wax bottles filled with liquid, jaw breakers, root-beer barrels, candy lipstick and yes, candy cigarettes. Thanks for the memories.
