Why Ology books?

The Ology book series is one of the coolest book series I have seen for the 6-12 age range. Each book has a topic, like dragons or monsters. Each book has tons of great illustrations and written descriptions. The pictures are exquisite enough for the series to already be listed in one of the greats -- but they didn't stop there. Each book has little envelopes, fold outs and items that you can take out of the book and touch. It makes reading the book be more than just reading -- there is stuff to touch and manipulate as well. It is more like experiencing...

Note - these are not full books. They are more like a stationary set with code instructions.

I have all of them. My children are grown now but I enjoy looking at them. They are brilliant. All are a wonderful work of art. Thanks for presenting them all here.

I haven't but when I was a kid, I loved to read books about oceans and the water. My mom told me my eyes would grow large over pictures of sea creatures. These books you have here will surely be a hit to many children. They're not only informative but the illustrations and colors will entice them to turn page after page. Fantastic lens! Sundae ;-)
