Share Your Pin Collecting Stories

From the lens My Olympic Pin Collection.

Are you a pin collector (affectionately known as a "pin head" - oh my, I'm still trying to get comfortable with that one)? An aspiring collector? Or perhaps you collect other pins (I think Disney ones are fairly popular too)? Share your favourite pin and story - I'd love to hear it.

I have Coca Cola pins from the 1986 World Cup Soccer from Mexico. This set is in a wooden frame. Very neat. Also the 1988 15th anniversary of the Winter Olympics. These are 3 sets of 5 in cases. I am curious to know what they are worth. Is there anybody that can give me an idea what they would be worth and maybe the best place to sell them. Thanks.

A pin collection of the biggest sport event ever. Amazing, that even this can be collected :)

You have beautiful collections. I collect key chains. But after seeing your lens, I like to collect pins too. :)

Interesting lens on Olympic pin collecting. I enjoyed watching many of the events and was impressed with Canada's performance. Happy New Year! **Blessed by a Squid-Angel**

What a fun sounding hobby and great way to meet like minded people. My sister was given several pins from the 1980 Moscow Olympics that I thought were fun to look at, she doesn't collect but I believe she has kept them as momentos of her trip. I love that you included the ruls of etiquette for trading, well done!

Wow! Great lens. I had never heard of "pin heads" before. (at least not in this context lol!)
