Thank you for featuring my lens here, Pat. It only covers the events happening at Cypress Mountain. Canada won it's first GOLD today in the men's freestyle skiing. The crowd went wild with joy! Ain't life grand!

Hello my dear! Isn't this the wrong date? "Vancouver 2010 OLYMPICS is February 28, 2010" ? I'm thinking it started already ... but I could be wrong.

I'm happy to see you dug this lens out of the archives and put it on for this Olympic Games. I've lensrolled it to my 2010 Olympics First Events. 5*s, lensroll and fav.

Thanks for the massive compilation of all things Olympic! I just dropped my friends off for lunch at Benny's in Ann Arbor, and it was the busiest I've ever seen -- probably because it was mentioned in the media as Michael Phelps' breakfast restaurant while he was training. Just another example of the impact of the Olympics on everyone.

Great lens and congrats on lens of the day!
  • Evelyn_Saenz Aug 19, 2008 @ 6:17 am | delete
Congratulations on Lens of the Day!

Picking a favorite event is difficult. I wish that they would show all of the various sports on TV and broadcast the efforts of the athletes from all countries. It seems that in the past the emphasis was more international. Now it's all about the US teams.

I love the way you covered all aspects of the Olympic medals. You really know how to put a lens together.

    Great lens, Pat!

For some reason, I'm not as interested in the Olympics this time as I normally am, so I'm not watching too much of it.

Even so, I found some great information and photos on this lens that were interesting. Thanks!

    Act on your dream!
