Although making some of the finest and innovative manual focus SLRs and lenses of all time, Olympus have since abondoned it's famous OM-System camera and lenses in lieu of the digital format challange and are now championing the FoutThirds digital SLR system with an array of digital SLR bodies, lenses and what have you.
Those who have grown up with the previous OM-system however, are still nostalgic about the fine quality of the products and the excellence in their image rendition that they are now getting the best of both world by matching the current crop of digital SLR bodies to the OM-sustem lenses of the past.
You will need the use of an OM lens adapter for this, of course, now easily available now from third party manufacturers and just as available for other makes of bodies as well.

Zuiko OM Lens Nomenclature
The Olympus Optical Company was established in 1919 under the name of "Takachiho" - mythical mountain ruled by the Goddess of Sun which may be compared to Greece's Mount Olympus. In 1936, it began the production of camera lenses and selected the name of "ZUIKO", meaning "blissful light". Since then, ZUIKO lenses have been widely acclaimed throughout the world.First generation ZUIKO Lens is described with an alphabetical prefix and suffix such as F . ZUlK0 AUTO-S, AUTO-T, etc. The prefix represents the number of elements in a lens in alphabetical order. For an instance, "A"=1 element, "B"=2 elements, "D"=4 elements, and so forth.
Second generation lens, with exceptions, carry the ZUIKO MC lettering to denote that the lens is 'Multi-Coated' while the third (last) generation only carries the ZUIKO name.
"AUTO" signifies automatic diaphragm. The suffix represents the type of lens: "S" is for Standard, "W" for Wide Angle and "T" for Telephoto.
