On the Waterfront

I love Water!

Water fascinates me - be it the rolling in of the waves at the beach, or a river running steadily towards the sea, a small pond with water lilies or a lake surronded by forests.

I love the colors water can have - dark blue, almost black, or the silvery blue of water when the sun is shining on it. I can look at it for hours, sit there and watch it flow, listen to it.

I love to take photographs of it and to use these photos to create Zazzle products. I hope you will enjoy looking at them as much as I do, and yes, you are invited to come to my shop and have a closer look!

Enjoy the Beach!

I love beaches. You can walk for hours with the wind in your hair, and the sound of the waves rolling in.
You can look in the distance, watch the ferryboats crossing on the horizon, and them watch them approaching, coming nearer, becoming bigger and bigger.
But you can't be at the beach forever - I live and work in Berlin. Looking at my photos reminds me of the hours at the beach, and maybe you want to remind somebody else of that specific feeling. You can do it - by sending this card to him or her.

Watermills

A very old way to produce energy

Do you know that the Greeks invented the watermills? The mills were mostly used to grind grain into flour. The Romans spread watermills all over the Roman Empire, thereby introducing the use of water power.
In the middle ages watermills existed all over Europe. Nowadays watermills are still in use in developing countries.
