Retro One Piece Swimsuit

A couple weeks ago I bought a retro swimming suit. Even though I had read all the fantastic reviews, I still wasn't prepared to put it on and actually like it. So you can imagine how shocked I was when I tried it on and loved it!

This retro swimsuit is amazing! It nips in my belly, gives me a curvier shape and covers me in all the right places. And the cool retro look is just plain sexy!

If you've been looking for a retro one piece swimsuit, this is the one you need to try!

Five Reasons To Get This Retro Swimming Suit

1. This retro swimming suit is slimming

Slimming retro swimsuit

Suddenly Slim Retro One Piece Swimsuit

This retro swim suit is fully lined to instantly make you look a size or two smaller. It sucks in any extra belly, and what it can't suck in is hidden by the shirred front. Even your hips are slimmed by the powerful lining!

It's available in medium, large, or extra-large and comes in teal, black and red.

2. This retro swimming suit is great for anyone!

Sexy Plus Size Swimsuits

Plus Size One-Piece Retro Swimsuit

Whether you're tall or short, thick or thin, curvy or not, this retro swimsuit is for you. Seriously, go read the reviews. People of all shapes and sizes are all saying the same thing: "This is the best swimsuit they've ever wore". It's flattering. It fits great. It covers just enough without going overboard. I don't know how they did it, but the they somehow managed to design the perfect swimsuit!

The plus size is available in 1X, 2X and 3X and comes in teal, red and black and purple.

3. This retro swimming suit is flattering

Flattering One Piece Retro Swimsuit

Suddenly Slim Leopard Print Retro Swimsuit

This retro swimsuit is flattering from top to bottom. The bust is lightly padded to give extra shape to smaller busts, while still offering amazing support for those more generously endowed. The top is fashioned in halter style with sash ties at the neck. This halter style gives your bust an extra little lift, a little extra shape. Plus the twisted front and the straight across cut of the bust line adds a bit of sexy to any body type.

This retro swimsuit offers a cross between a skirt and boy shorts. The front is shirred and just a tad shorter than normal skirtini's, although it still offers great coverage (perhaps for those days when you just don't feel like trimming your bikini line). The back isn't lined or shirred, so you'll show a smooth rear profile. The boyshort styling gives great coverage and looks cute at the same time!

This swimsuit is available in medium, large and extra-large.

4. This retro swimsuit is cheap!

Polka Dot Retro Swimsuit

I priced a bunch of retro swimsuits before I decided to buy this one. I almost gave up because they were so expensive. I mean, I just can't sell my husband on the idea of spending $90 - $200 on a swimsuit. That's why I couldn't believe it when I saw the price for this one, only $18 - $33! Plus it's sold by Walmart (which means 97 cent shipping), so I knew I could get two different sizes and easily take the one that didn't fit back to the store for a refund.

5. The proof is in the picture!

You can't argue with a picture! This is me in this very same swimsuit. Before you look, you should know that I've had 4 kids and I struggle with a yummy pizza addiction. I'm about 20 pounds overweight, with most of that being in my belly area. But that was no problem for this suit. It nipped and tucked and made my husband say "Wow!".

In the past, I've found that most slimming swimsuits are so tight it's hard to breathe. Not so with this one. Of course it has to be a little tight in order to perform it's magical slimming trick, but it's not so tight to be uncomfortable. I can move normal, breathe normal, and pretend I always look this good!

Another Retro Swimming Suit

At over 4 times the price!!

This retro swimsuit is of similar construction, but it costs more than 4 times as much! And even with that big ol' price tag, it doesn't slim, trim, nip or tuck.

I have been looking for these EVERYWHERE. but they are sooo expensive.. Its not that I am especially overweight or anything, but I just dont feel that comfortable in a bikini. I cannot beleive they sell these at freaking wallmart... they have everything. Its almost scary..

Im not quite sure about the quality though, but I suppose you get what you pay for. ;) I want the kind that is 70 dollars, but I just cant afford it. I think I just might order one. Thank you for posting it. Wallmart would be the last place on earth I would look for this. haha

Very cute! My girlfriend has a really sexy retro swimsuit as well. Good stuff.
  • Sunflower_Susan Apr 29, 2011 @ 7:04 am | delete
I really love this! What a gorgeous suit, and you look fantastic in it! Boney women with unnatural airbags are all over magazine covers, but it's not real, not natural, and only attractive in a very single sort of way. Your figure is perfect and attractive all over and that suit style was designed to complement the natural beauty of the female figure. Great find, and terrific lens.
  • Othercat Apr 29, 2011 @ 11:01 am | delete
That's why I showed the pic of myself wearing it. Anything can look good on a size 0 supermodel. I wanted to show that it can look just as good on a real woman.
    Thanks for the compliment!
  • jo May 11, 2012 @ 4:23 am | delete
I'm about the size of yours. What size should I get for the swimsuit?
  • Ruthi Apr 29, 2011 @ 5:55 am | delete
You're looking good! I think the retro suit is a great look and may have to get one for myself. Anything that hides those extra bulges works for me!
  • 2muchtrash Apr 29, 2011 @ 12:51 am | delete
You look good! Unfortunately, its going to take more than a retro swimsuit to make me look good. Waaayyyy more than 20 pounds overweight. I like the way this swimsuit covers all that needs covering and yet still looks really fashionable. And you are right about the price - $32 is well within most people's budget.
