What a difference five levels can do.

Finally!

This lens is geared towards my fellow World of Warcraft players. Anyone else may find this to be a bunch of gibberish, but I hope my excitement shows through. Still, maybe it will interest you in the game.

First, I'm not a regular raider because of the work schedule, but I am able to raid every now and then. One opportunity I recently received was a 10-man Lich King kill in Icecrown Citadel. At 85. It was awesome.

I know, I know, I didn't do do this at level 80 when this raid first came out, but I this was not my first time visiting the Lich King and trying to get him down. I actually have done raided him unsuccessfully in 25-man mode. I even tried once in Heroic mode, and this was actually before we one-shotted him in 10-man normal mode. We need to learn that fight, but we'll get him down in that fight.

I know this may sound like gibberish to a lot of people, and I apologize, but for a raiding group to go in and kill a high level raid boss in one shot, even in normal mode, is important to those players. Plus, I finally got my "the Kingslayer" title!

Want an easy Lich King kill?

Here's the advice I can offer. Get to level 85 and make sure you have all gear from the Cataclysm expansion. I was third highest in damage per second because I had low-ish gear score. Make sure you know the fights. You will be running back and forth a lot. It also helps to have everyone in a chat channel on Ventrilo or Teamspeak because if someone shouts out where to stand or tell you where you need to be, it's easier than typing. FOLLOW YOUR RAID LEADER'S INSTRUCTIONS.

If you've done this before, no problem. Instead of taking 15 minutes at level 80, this will take 5 minutes at level 85.
