Check out Parenting Times for Parenting Articles, Kids Crafts, Educational Issues, and more. I started this blog in 2004 when my children were just a baby and toddler. Now they're both on the way to becoming preteens.

You can be sure to get loads of information on Parenting stuff and all sorts and manners of crafts you can do with children.

My First Blog

I can't believe I have been blogging for 7 years!

Parenting Times is my very first blog. I started it in 2004. I can't believe that I have been blogging for 7 years. This lens is about that first blog.

At first my spouse and I did not have the same view about blogs. He thought that a blog was a waste of time, for people who have too much time on their hands. He just couldn't see the benefit of blogging as I did. Blogging was a stress reliever for me. I got to know other mommy bloggers. I felt connected, less isolated and not so alone.

Not only that, blogging often gave me an outlet to express my feelings. I always felt better after I vented on my blog.

About my spouse? Well, eventually he saw that I really enjoyed blogging so he started supporting me in it. Now, he even takes pictures for my blogs and gives me ideas on what to blog about.

Happy Birthday to Parenting Times!

My Parenting Times blog is now 7 years old!

Do you celebrate your blog anniversaries? It's a fun way to say Happy Birthday to your blog.

My Parenting Times blog was born on 17 November 2004. That makes it 7 years old this month. It soon gave birth to my Mothering Times blog followed by Mumsgather blog.

Now I have 5 blogs in all and I am too busy sometimes I forget and can't keep up with all my blog anniversaries. However this is my first blog and continues to be my first love. This blog is mainly for my children. I have other blogs for myself and other things.

My 5 blogs:

1. Parenting Times - My first blog and my first love. This blog is for my children to record the time I spend with them, their crafts, education and other things.

2. Mothering Times - My second blog for the mother in me and all other mothers to rant and talk about the sweat, tears and joy of being a mother.

3. Mumsgather.com - My third blog for the whacky me to talk about being a woman, my house, my home, my relationships, my observations and all other things personal and special to me personally. In other words, its for me!

4. Quotestation - My fourth blog just because I love quotes. Just because.

5. Be Healthaware - My fifth blog is my health blog to record my journey and continuous search for better health.

My blog is yet again "pregnant" with my 6th blog a finance blog. The template is ready and has been ready for a loooong time. Just haven't got the time or motivation to start it yet. ;)
