    I must say those sites people mention are not really doing what I think they should be doing. That is giving us an overview of the best daily deals in a nice and clean overview with the information we need. My number one daily deal aggregator is 24Daydeals.

    I find that more useful than the daily deal sites are the deals & coupon sites. There are many of these but the ones that I find most useful are www.gottadeal.com and www.fatdeals.net
    The smaller more obscure deal and coupon sites usually have a lot better content!

    I just found a a site that lists both online and local deals in a city at http://www.koopik.com. Pretty good site, already found some good deals it.

    You should also check out Moolala. They do daily deals, and they ALSO give you 2% back in cash.

    Daily Deals are great, however starting Dec 1, 2010 you will be able to find great free offers in your local area on freefu.com. So "find the free, TODAY!"

    It is also free for any business that offers a product or service for free to post that offer on freefu.com, so if you own a business give it a try or suggest to someone you know.

    I think you might want to include the techbargains site which lists many of the short term deals from a variety of sources: http://www.techbargains.com/
