My Lensography by Onefootputt

I have a lot of different niche's that I occassionally add lenses to. This lens is dedicated to each of the different niche's with the use of the My Lenses module and the Split Lens Module, you can see each of the Lensographies at the top of this lens.

One of the recommendations from Spirtiuality is to create a Lensography for every 10 lenses. And with Fluffanutta's suggestion to use the Split Lens Module I have finally decided to create My Lensography.

Why the name OneFootPutt? I love golf, however, I'm not a very good golfer, so I wanted to come up with a name that was unique and people would remember. And what's with the Blue Icon? I wasn't ready to put my picture on the internet when I started Squidoo and began my online adventure, so I chose a picture that was sitting on my computer at the time. So what I found was a picture in the Sample Pictures folder of My Pictures. In fact, it's probably on your computer too.

Who is Onefootputt?

I created this resume as part of the Factor Y group. I really enjoyed what that group was trying to become, and this was one of the assignments. This became the first time I connected me with the Onefootputt moniker.

Children's Books and other Collections of Books Lenses

I started my Children's books niche as a way to keep track of the books my four kids read. Since I've been at this for two school years, my kids have been in eight different grade levels. I have since expanded the Books for Graders series to other topics on Children's books such as Christmas books, Authors, Book series my children read, and most recently this year to Sports books and Award Winning Children's Books. I hope you enjoy the different books topics.

Great Scouting Resources

My son is currently a Webelo. When I started on Squidoo, he was a Wolf Scout and there were not a lot, still not a lot, of lenses about Scouting. LakeMom and I came up with the same idea at the same time, start a group on Scouts, LakeMom started a group on Girl Scouts, and I started two groups on Boy Scouts and All About Scouting. I've also written lenses on Hiking, Cub Scout Skits, the 100 year Boy Scout anniversary, and Fundraising. This year I'll be the Popcorn Kernel for our Cub Scout Pack, so I'm sure I'll have a lens about being the Kernel.

Get Involved in your PTA

When I was the PTA President and PTA Treasurer, I learned a lot. I continue to create lenses dealing with different aspects of the PTA. I created a PTA group when I first started and continue to maintain the group when I find worthy lenses.

Golfing is one of my favorite sports

One of my favorite sports is Golf. Bowling being the sport I am the most skilled at. I've created many different types of Golf lenses. Not being an expert I wanted to start a group, which I did, and continue to the day, All About Golf - Hackers to Pros. My most popular lens on golf continues to be Golf Games, and I enjoy finding different types of Golf Gifts to promote.

Football is my favorite sport to watch on TV, which my favorite team being the Chicago Bears. I love trying to find unique ways for football fans to express themselves or create lenses about particular teams.

My learnings on Squidoo

This is probably the topic I enjoy the most, although, I am definately a novice compare to others in this area. I've created a lens about my experience on Squidoo which tracks the lensrank of a lens for about two months, a lens about long URLs and lens titles, and a couple to track ebooks and blogs about Squidoo. I haven't gotten brave enough to provide any expert lenses as of yet. Well, maybe one day.

My home state of Illinois

I live in Naperville, Illinois. So some of my interests revolve around Illinois and everything it has to offer. From local lenses about my community, to vacation lenses, to golf courses in Illinois. It's a joy to make a lot of these lenses.

    No you don't need to be a Squid Giant or 100 club member to create this.

    I utilized the Page Break Module and the My Lenses Module for this lens.
