Pimping Project: Tyres & Wheels
Ranked #2,609 in Cars, #137,162 overall
Wheels, glorious wheels
The number one safety feature of a car is the tyres. A lot of things can go wrong with a car to prevent it from starting, a few things can prevent it from stopping, but while you're in motion they're the four most important parts of the car. When it comes to performance and safety the tyres pretty much rule the roost.
Buy tyres as if your life depends on it...
...because it does.

We had a problem yesterday with the back left brake dying a loud and painful death (this will be explained in more detail in the upcoming blog). The brake pads were shot to hell and came off. You can imagine what sort of noise that was making while driving, let alone trying to brake.
It couldn't be replaced (such a part would be hard to source) so Mick repaired it.

Adam, our video cameraman got a few shots from some different positions to change it up a bit. That's him up in the loft.

Those last two shots are of a contraption that I had suspicions about but wasn't too sure. On one hand I'm thinking it's a tennis ball shooter but on the other I thought it might be some wheel balancing or aligning... doova-lackey.
But it is a tennis ball shooter. O'Neills know EVERYTHING about tyres and a local school brought it in to get it balanced as it wasn't working as expected.
I asked Steve (the business owner) if he was going to pimp it out with some 12 inch rims. Unfortunately no.
It does however shoot tennis balls 160kph.
Almost as fast as the Mighty Boy.
Not.

What do you think so far? Be kind as I'd hate to hurt the little Mighty Boy's feelings.
