The History Of AllAdvantage

AllAdvantage officially launched on March 1st 1999. AllAdvantage was an online advertising company that paid its members a portion of their advertising revenue and their main slogan was "Get Paid To Surf The Web".

During its nearly 2 years of operation, it grew to more then 10 million members and made nearly $200 million in its first 18 months of operation. AllAdvantage paid their existing members more for referring new members and by doing so it became one of the most heavily promoted websites of its time.

In mid-2000 AllAdvantage fell victim to the sharp decline in advertising spending as the U.S. economy entered a recessionary period and finally ceased operations in February of 2001.
