and what classifies a disorder?
- Finding yourself in the hospital because you thought you were having a heart attack only to be told later it was anxiety?
- Fearing you might stop breathing because your chest feels tight and your breathing too quick?
- Continually nervous and afraid you might lose control or go insane?
- Struggling daily with anxious thoughts that will not stop?

These symptoms are not fun and definitely indicate Anxiety. But does that necessarily mean that you have a disorder? A disorder is defined as a condition in which there is a disturbance of normal functioning. Psychologist all over the world will tell you that if you are experiencing the above symptoms, chances are you have an Anxiety Disorder. Myself, I dropped out of Psychology for exactly this reason.

According to the Psychological Community each of us should only feel a certain amount of emotions in a certain amount of time. Any imbalance in this prescribed machine-like schedule of emotions is seen as a disorder and generally implies that something is wrong with you. This is not how human beings work. We do not have a schedule, and we certainly do not have a manual.
