My Story Of Data "Meltdown" and Discovering Online Backup
My hard drive was dead and I was freakin. I had some backups on a cd and an flash drive but those were more than 6 month's old! I was "sunk"...all our family photo's, movies, documents, programs, emails and the list went on and on.
Eventually I had to pay a firm in Califoria $1,400 to retrieve "our life" from this dead hard drive.
I had never heard of online backup services before and if I had then I wouldn't be writing this now.
How Online Backup Works
Backing up your computer online may sound complicated, but trust me...it's not.Basically you'll install a little piece of software on your computer which will backup your files to secure online storage (more secure than your bank actually).
You can either let the backup software choose what to back up or you can manually select which files are important to you.
Once you decide which files should be backed up you can setup a backup schedule. The schedule is completely up to you. You can select hourly backups or monthly ones, it's very flexible!
Now, you'll never have to worry about backing up your computer files again! It's ALL automatic!
