If you become popular than controversy is due on you. This is also happened with John Chow. Two major controversy were -

1. He was penalized by Google for selling links and writing paid reviews on his blog. (But in return Google made him more popular and well known name to challenge google)

2. Photo where he is holding knife on the neck of dummy panda.

Although Google banned his website but even now he is getting great number of visitors without the help of Google Traffic. On this day (14th June 2009) alexa ranking of JohnChow.Com is 8999 which is really remarkable.

Many people are saying that he is earning around $40000/month by blogging only and because of that normal internet users attract towards him to know the secrets. Once he told that he makes money by telling people how much he makes money.

So there is one common thing about Jeremy Schoemaker and John Chow. Google was the reason because of which they get famous. One in positive way and other one in negative way.

Jeremy Schoemaker was born in May 31, 1974 (according to wiki). First got the touch of computer on 1987 and that also of apple. He was around 13 years of age (if my mathematics is good). So you can expect at that age what anybody can do on computer ... yes you are right - playing games and doing some coding stuff as well.

Life for this well known online entrepreneur is not at all easy for first few years after graduating from school. Extra pounds, chain smoker and maximum experience of getting fired. But life knocks again at his door on 2003 and he grabs the opportunity with his both hands. His ringtone community company bring this huge change in his monetary looks and a surgery brings the change in his looks by removing 200 pounds.

Whatever may be the past but present is really charming and I am sure future will be more bright.
