There are just too many games for boys online. I find that most of them are a little bit violent. Lots of fighting and blood and gore. Then there are the car racing types which raises the adrenaline just a little bit too much. As a mum, I do not like my son to be addicted to those types of addictive games. I do allow him to play them once in a while but sometimes I search and filter games which I think are suitable for a boy. That is why I created this site.

Here are some of my mum approved games for boys. Don't worry, they are just as fun and full of action.

I have based my list on boys favourite cartoon characters because boys will be able to identify with those characters. It will also make game playing more fun if you can watch familiar cartoon characters come to live under your command. So, here are the list of boys games based on boys favourite cartoon characters.

As far as possible, I try to go for the official sites of those boys cartoon characters. They are more original and authentic. You can bookmark this page and let your boys find the pages easily instead of searching for all the official sites yourselves.
Toy Story Games
Play with Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Sarge, Ham and more. This is what I was talking about when I say it is fun to watch your cartoon characters come alive in a game. Great animation and music.

Message for Boys #1: Take a break.

I know computer games are fun but remember to take a break every 30 minutes or so and don't spend more than an hour a day on the computer.

Make sure you complete your homework and assignments first BEFORE you start on your computer games and reduce the time spent on games if you need to do your homework using the computer!

I know its hard but you must remember to take care of yourselves. You are the most important person in the whole world.

Message for boys #3 - Take care of yourself

Take care of yourselves. Did you know that there is something called the carpal tunnel syndrome? It happens to people who use their wrists repeatedly for example typing and clicking on the mouse. It can cause you a lot of problems. You can read more about that here.

    Great little page especially for little guys. I did this when my boys were younger - It just made it easier to say 'here is the list of approved places' and he knew what mommy and daddy liked. Currently our guy is into wizards101 and maplestory. [11yo]
