Everyone has hit a tough spot somewhere, somehow. I remember feeling like that approx a week ago when I first lost my job. In 15 years of work, I never saw that coming. I've done lots of different things in the past, knowing that a job was not my long term solution to my problems (living paycheck-paycheck, being broke, having more month than money), and never really put my heart into them. I've made decent money doing Network Marketing (which is an industry I'll be talking more about soon), door-door deals, contractual businesses, etc. I've had a lot of fun.

The most I've ever learned about success did come from the Network Marketing industry. Did you know that no matter what it is you do in life, only 1.6%-2% of people will ever truly find and create financial independence? Look at your job (or past job if unemployed). A lot of people work really hard at what they do, never to truly go anywhere. They hop into this Ferrari and try to climb the huge mountain called life, knowing that the car will get stuck halfway to the top. They fell for the beauty and looks of whatever vehicle they chose... it's called Status.

I was there. I thought that because I looked good (not trying to sound conceited), smelled good, drove a nice car, lived in nice areas that I was doing great. Then I looked at my bank account.

I know what it's like to be broke, busted, in debt to my ears (whatever you want to call it).

At 23 years old I found a mentor, a coach in my life. A gentleman who at 32 years old created financial independence for his family, never having to work a job again (it's been over a decade). He began to disciple me. I'm still learning, and I'm very grateful for this man and his family, and the whole network of people I've been surrounded by.

I want to pass that knowledge on to you.

This is called the Freebie Industry. Ever been on one of those sites that says you can get a free I pod, PS3, etc? They have you fill out offers and refer others to them? Most people think they are scams. Well, they aren't. They are affiliate marketing companies that are paid referral fees by the advertisers to get people like you and me to sign up for them.

For instance, and I'll pass the link to you: Let's say ABC Company will pay $100 dollars to someone to refer them a new client. This client registers and pays ABC Company for there services $20/month in fees. ABC Company Grosses $20*12=$240 in fees in one year of service to that client. So ABC Company comes out ahead don't they? $240 fees earned-$100 referral advertising fees out.

Now let's say you are a company who's whole goal is to get referrals for ABC Company (among others). You'll pay someone $60 to bring you a referral so you don't have to do as much work. The concept of street teams, or guerrilla marketing comes to mind. Ever been to a club downtown, and had flyers on your cars? Same concept.

Now let's say YOU bring The Referral company a referral. The Referral Company pays you $60! Not a bad deal, eh? Now let's say you don't want to do as much work, so you will pay someone $30 dollars to sign up to the Referral Company to then sign up for ABC Company (a company they wanted to do business with anyway!). You keep $30, the new client gets $30! It's a win-win!

So to break it down: ABC Company get's new client. Paid $240 in fees for a year, they keep $140 because...
Referral Company get's referral payment. Paid $100, they keep $40 because...
You get Referral for the Referral Company. Paid $60, you keep $30 because...
Referral gets services from ABC Company and Cash from You. Paid $30.
