Online Learn Spanish Lessons | The Best Online Learn Spanish Lessons On The 'Net

The Good: Rosetta Stone is a great online learn Spanish course. The Spanish lessons are very intensive and they will give you a very firm grasp of the language.

The Bad: There are two reasons why I returned the Rosetta Stone course...

1) I found the content very dry. Almost the entire course (with the exception of a few supplemental audios) is taught using written content. I had just finished my college semester, so reading through loads of written material was definitely something I was not too crazy about.

2) After finding Rocket Spanish, I realized just how expensive this Spanish course really is. It is about $200 more than Rocket Spanish, yet the content is the same.

Support: The support was fairly moderate in my opinion. After sending out a question, I could usually receive an answer within 1-2 business days.

Rocket Spanish is a highly interactive course. Being a college student, I am not a huge fan of doing tons of heavy reading if I am not required to. This online learn Spanish course is really great because your are taught through a variety of methods (audio lessons, video lessons, and written lessons)

Right now I would say I am intermediate at best with Spanish. But the good thing is that I can still work through Rocket Spanish until I can consider myself a pro.

There's two different packages of Rocket Spanish:

One is the instant download version (this is way cheaper - obviously the one I went with :-)

The second package is the hard copy version. This is where you get the CD's, DVD's, and books sent to your door. This package costs more and you have to pay an extra $50 for shipping and handling.

What do I recommend?

If I were you, I would just stick with the instant download version. It's cheaper and you don't have to wait 6 weeks for it to come in the mail.

And all of the program files are backed up on the Rocket Spanish website. So if you lose any files, you can just re-download them on the website.
