Your time is valuable and so is your attention. If it wasn't, those pretty little blue ads attempting to swallow up this article that you're reading right now wouldn't be here competing for it.

So, if you're like me, right about now you're appreciating leaving out the fluff and getting straight to the meat of how to drive targeted traffic to your sites for *free and enjoy results right away:

*1.Classifieds-There are several good quality classified sites that will produce good traffic.The ones that have shown the best overall sales results for me have been*Craigslist.org* and *UsFreeAds.com*

-When you go to Craigslist, you have the option of targeting by city and state. You can post an ad immediately that will last for 7 days or you can set up an account that will last 45 days before you can repost it for *free.

-With UsFreeAds, you also have an option of immediately posting a *free ad or to upgrade to gold or premium. Just like with Craigslist, UsFreeAds allows you to upload images of products or a photo saved on your harddrive. Using images and photos builds trust because it lets your ad viewers know that you are a live human being and not some bot or something.

There are other classifieds you can use for *free
(huge list coming soon), but to get started, these are 2 quality services that will help with your traffic, exposure and even in the search engines, so I recommend using these two first consistently to build experience with them.

*2.Relevant Blog Comments-With Google being so relevant anyway, it isn't difficult to enter in a keyword related to your market (the people who will buy from you and your product) and then to finda list of blogs that cover/discuss topics related.

This sneaky little secret works only if you work it right.
What you have to do is read a few of the posts and other comments and get a good "feel" for the flow of the discussion and then reply with a relevant comment, something that relates to what is being discussed...maybe something you liked about the post or found useful.

In the field where it asks you for your site url, you simply place your website there as normal and click submit. After the comment is approved and indexed by Google, you'll notice that you have a nice one-way link pointing back to your website. What's best is that this is *targeted* traffic that You got for *free! We ought to sell this stuff, right? I told you these were good tips.

*3. Create a squeeze page-

Do NOT, I repeat do NOT let your eyes glaze over this one and your brain lie to you and say, "Self, you can't do this because it's only for those 'other' kind of people."

You can do this as easily as anyone who has ever lived.

When grilled as to what the most crucial difference between success and failure online when discussing making money, the top internet marketers and I mean, the really successful ones have all said that it is listbuilding. They said if they had it all over to do again that they would build their list first.

There are plenty of free squeeze page generators and opt in page builders as well as site editors that are usually referred to as
"html editors" that you can locate by using your search engine.

I recommend reading a few *free tutorials on using filezilla or other ftp clients for uploading your new site (squeeze page) to your new webserver that you got with your new domain and hosting package. This will make all that "tech stuff" a breeze.

This will program google to return results of all the forums in your niche market that you can join for free and target. When you build relationships in the forum, you will soon discover by being the best listener you ever met what people just like you and me are really needing and desiring and then you'll have a great idea as to what kind of product to recommend to them either as an affiliate, a product you made or had made yourself or just out of the goodness of your heart like I do to help others.

The bottom line with this tip though regardless of the rest, is that you are positioning yourself to stand in front of valuable, niche-targeted traffic and for *free. Certainly beats paying for it doesn't it?

*6.Press Releases- Press releases aren't just good for alerting media to your news event, but they can also be great for search engine results when you know what keywords to put into the field that asks you for your keywords.

I did this with a free giveaway event that I ran earlier this year and enjoyed nice natural search engine results from just one release. If you'd like to verify, you can enter internet marketing free giveaway into Google and you'll see Giveaway Giant is on the first page there.

However, if you aren't yet experienced at writing them, I'd recommend that you try out doing a few after reading a few others to see how they should be done. The service I used was called pr.log and I actually enjoyed three different listings in the search results because they let you create your own back office there to check stats and provide contact info. Another free one is prleap.

*7.Bonus Secrets- Bonus secrets? Most experienced marketers reading this one are thinking, "Oh no, Doug got one over on us that we didn't know about before...again." Only kidding of course.

Actually I titled the seventh secret "bonus secrets" because I plan to give you a few more than promised just because I really desire for you to get something good from this experience and perhaps you'll even post this article on your blog, send it out to your email list, post it in a forum or somewhere it will be appreciated as a good resource for getting all the quality , targeted traffic you can handle.

Ask and you shall receive right? This is actually an example of increasing desired actions taken by increasing the calls to actions within the content. I'll be testing the results of this one as a study and if enough people don't send it to their friends, then I'll know that you didn't appreciate it and will adjust future content accordingly.

This is the place on the lens where I will answer questions that you may have about how to increase traffic to your web site or other online traffic related questions.

While I can't guarantee that I can answer every question asked immediately, I will do my best to respond with the answer based on experience, research or both in order to help us all increase in knowledge and share the wealth of resources available online.

Today, I'd like to just say thank you to everyone who has visited the lens and helped this lens to increase in rank and traffic in such a short amount of time. It's thanks to you for making it happen.

Also, I have chosen to answer the questions according to the content of the question without necessarily addressing you by name, but hopefully you will see that it is your question that is being answered.

I figure this way that you and I can together help other people with the questions and answers too.

The first question was asked which was the easiest way for a beginner to start getting traffic out of the ways mentioned in the 7 secrets article published last week in my opinion.

What I had attempted to accomplish and believe did in fact accomplish was to provide ways that were all easy to implement.

If pressed to choose just one way, I'd have to say that
out of all the ways mentioned that I believe simply signing up for an
account with an online classified service like craigslist is perhaps
the easiest, because there is less technical knowledge required and it is easy to just choose a headline with a great benefit of the product and then include a few words as to what your product will do and then a link to your website.
After that, it's pretty simple to click submit, check your email to confirm and publish the ad once you're happy with the way it looks and that's it.

After thinking of the different ways, I believed that although they are all easy, perhaps that is the easiest from start to finish to do one and then repeat over with other classifieds too.

The next question asked regarded how a craigslist ad could stay posted for 45 days when some of the ads were only 7 or 30.

The answer to this question is that it depends on the cities where the ad is posted.

The highest traffic and major cities have a max of 30, but the majority of the cities allow ads to be posted for free for 45 days before allowing them to be reposted for another 45 days.

To verify this, feel free to visit Craigslist.org and read the most frequently asked questions and you will see the same answer posted there in more detail in regards to the specific cities.
