A Guide to Where to Watch Movies and TV Shows Online for Free.
There are a ton of sites out there that claim to provide free movies for you to watch. Most of them are fake fronts for pay-per-view sites, but a growing number provide popular full-length feature films and TV shows free for your online viewing pleasure. The lens will provide an annotated list with links to both the sites, and reviews of their content that have appeared in online magazine JollyJo.tv.

- Veoh provides both original content and legal Hollywood content. So far, watching online works better than using the site's video player, VeohTV, which is still in beta.

- This Chinese site houses an amazing number of TV shows and Hollywood movies. There's no translation button though so if you don't read Chinese, you'll need to view it through a translation site like BabelFish. It's worth it though. This is a great spot for watching Law & Order and CSI!

When it's out of print, it's eBay to the rescue!
I don't know about you, but I'm one of those folks who sees a really good movie and wants to own it. It doesn't have to be new. A lot of flicks go out of print just like books do. When that happens the big stores like Amazon and Blockbuster stop carrying it and can't get it anymore. That's where eBay comes in. Yeah, eBay, baby! After watching a couple of X-Files episodes a few years ago, I was amazed by Steve Railsback's acting. Most of his older stuff is super hard to find, but eBay came through for me so I now have copies of "Scissors" and "Distortions," in addition to the easy to find at Blockbuster "The Stuntman."

You don't have to buy a DVD to haul around anymore. Amazon has a downloads store, too. If it's not online for free, it'll only cost you about $2 bucks to watch and own from Amazon. (Oh, and if anyone of my family or friends is looking for birthday or Christmas ideas for me, Anthony Michael Hall's "The Dead Zone" or anything Def Leppard would be truly appreciated. I lost about 2/3rds of my music collection in the move and all my DL is gone! Just saying...)
