1.Financial Investment
Online Business Program(OBP)-The money it takes to start an online business is very little, if any. There are strategies available that won't ever cost you a penny. Depending on what you are wanting to do, a typical online business can start anywhere from zero to a couple hundred dollars.
Real Estate(RE)-The no money down days of real estate investing or first purchasing a home are basically over. You will spend several thousand dollars before you even sniff the keys. After you fork over your savings you are then tied to a monthly payment that is in the hundreds or thousands of dollars plus insurance, taxes and any maintenance needed. You are obligated to repay the borrowed money whether your tenant pays or not.

OBP-If a customer doesn't pay, they will not receive your product. Period.
RE-One or two tenants, over the course of history, have been known not to pay their rent. Your customer(tenant) has your product(house). Not a whole lot you can do other than evict. Evictions are expensive and time consuming. That means several months with no payment. Don't forget you still have a monthly mortgage to pay.
3.Flexibility
OBP-If after some time you come to the conclusion that the online business program you chose isn't making money your options are limitless. You can tweak your sales page, search engine optimize your website, repackage your product, etc. You can even just hit the delete button a few times and be done completely.
RE-If you come to that same conclusion with your investment property, good luck. Selling a house is costly. There are realtor commissions, closing costs and any repairs needed to name a few. With the downturn in the market, most places are looking at an average of at least 3 months listing.
4.Market
OBP-Your market is the WORLD. Anyone with access to a computer and internet is a potential customer.
RE-Whether you are renting your house out or flipping, your customer base is limited to the area the house is in or someone wanting to move to that area.
5.Management
OBP-Managing your online business is as easy or in depth as you want. You can sell ebooks and have it completely automated. Customer buys ebook then is taken automatically to the download. You can set it up and forget about it.
RE-Don't get me started on managing an investment property. Repairs, maintenance, dealing with tenants. Even if you think you might hire a property manager, you will have to manage him/her.

First, for those who don't know, dropshipping is selling a product you do not have in stock, receiving the money from a customer ,then you order the product from your supplier and it is shipped directly to your customer. You are playing middleman and dont have to keep and inventory. It is the way powersellers on eBay become, well, powersellers.

You need to be very cautious in your choice of dropshippers. There are many available on the internet. The problem with that is trying to avoid the scams.

Overly anxiouis newbies will hear the word dropshipping, find out what it is and rush over to eBay thinking they will become an overnight millionaire. But they set themselves up for failure by doing this.

You need to do your homework before you committ to a dropshipper. Some sell items for retail and tell you it is a wholesale price. Some will ship damaged items. Some will even keep your money and never ship anything.

You must, must, must test your dropshipper prior to selling anything of theirs through eBay. Order items through a made up name, ship it to your neighbor, friend, whatever. Ship something to yourself. I order about 5-10 different types of items and send them to 5-10 different addresses. I even find a reason to complain just to see how these issues are handled with my dropshipping company.

Your eBay reputation is your lifeblood. You may as well save your time and close up shop if you attempt to dropship before testing. Most anyone who has purchased on eBay, present company included, looks to see how many items they have sold and the seller feedback.

A newb who gets scammed by a dropshipper and ends up with 5 items sold and 5 negative feedback is NOT going to sell much more and will probably be contacted by someone at eBay as well. Spend a few extra bucks and time reseaching your potential dropshipper. It will be the best investment you make.

So how do you find a good dropshipper? I use one company and one company only. Salehoo. The companies listed with them are only on the list because of member recommendations. Dropshippers cannot pay to make this list. You enter a search for the item you are looking for and you are directed to dropshippers who have that item.

So your new website is completely indexed by all the search engines. You are feeling pretty good about yourself right now. So why is it then you remain on the last page of a keyword search. Or worse yet, for a keyword that has nothing to do with your website. How do you feel when your internet marketing affiliate site is found under a keyword about baby dolls?

Chances are real good your site isnt optimized for search engines. Many articles can be found on how to get traffic to your site. Most consume at least a little of your time or cost you some money. Search engine optimization is well worth your time and won't cost you anything if you follow these simple steps.

1.Choose a keyword rich domain.
This is pretty self explanatory. When you register your domain, take your time to find the website name that can used to your benefit. If your domain is shirt.com and someone googles "shirt" chances are very good they will be directed to your site.

2.Use your keywords in headings and metatags.
Most website creation software such as Xsite Pro will automatically do this for you.

3.Get as many incoming links to your site as possible.You can do this by exchanging links with other webmasters, submitting to directories, writing articles or the somewhat controversial buying links. (keep in mind, google requires you notify them of paid links-proceed with caution). Make certain your links are from sites with at least somewhat similar content.

4.Create redirect pages.
Redirect pages send the viewer who types Inlinebusinessprograms.com to www.inlinebusinessprograms.com or http://www.inlinebusinessprograms.com . Or however you set it up. You want to make certain someone looking for your site can find your site no matter how it is typed. This includes the search engine robots.

There are many theories out there but no one but Google knows for sure what their search engine algorithm is. The steps above are a move in the right direction.
