Watch what you are getting yourself into if you are looking at Giblink and Lawn Chair Millionaire. They are not a bad prgram but they are very misleading and you could be throwing out alot of money before you see any results. My advice would be to stay away from them, once you get past the hype they are not that good. There are much better out there. Fortune 5 Minutes is pretty good because all you pay is $25 once for life, then promote.
If you see the Berry Tree forget it. What a load of crap, auto ship every month for you to pay and for what "sand packets" to put into your water.
It and nutronics are just a scam, don't go near them. Just utter crap. But that is just my opinion.

WEB 2.0 Advertising Venues

Hi everyone I just wanted to inform people that the advertising venue's being used today are becoming more and more unique. I have been doing a little bit of surfing through some of the blogs that I keyworded on Google and one thing was starting to stand outfor me. When you are blogging, you are selling yourself and your niche.Giving people information on your chosen niche or the thing you have a high interest in, or your passion. You are trying to be recognized for the value of that information.
That being said, the quickest way to put your blog and through it, your reputation in the gutter is to start advertising on your blog. There are many other avenues on the INTERNET to do your advertising ( I can point you in the right direction if you wish) but one of them is NOT, and I repeat NOT your blog. If you do you will be "cutting off your nose dispite your face" so to speak and your hard work will be of very little value. Think of it like a regular business, it takes years to build a good reputation for your business, but it can be thrown away in about two weeks if customer service and know how start to be an issue.
If you are blogging for an online business, what you need to do is write a product review or something of that nature, giving the virtues of the product that you are using. Google your website through https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and see what key words are being used. pick a few of them to use in your article (5 or 6 at most) then when posting you can hyperlink to your website with one of the words. For example, if one of your key words is money, and it will be in there LOL. Hyperlink your affiliate website to that word. That way you are not blatantly advertising but you are getting your site out there.

Alt Text

It is a short form for Alternative text. This is text displayed when a user hovers over an image on a site. In case of images which serve as links the Alt Text for such image links work similarly to anchor texts and are given the same level of importance as anchor texts.

Alt Tags

These are tags associated with Alt text information and their intention is to enable people who are disabled to get information put up in a site. For example, a blind user web browsers is fitted with means to read the Alt Text aloud and the Alt Tags aloud for their understanding.

Anchor Text

In a text based link, anchor text is the set of words that the users click to take the link. These words are made up based on the nature of the site or page to which it links. The anchor text put into a site must be very relevant to user searches and pertaining to the content put in the site to which it is linking

Ajax

Acronym for Asynchronous JavaScript and XML. creates interactive web applications.

Autocasting

Automated form of podcasting that allows bloggers and blog readers to generate audio versions of text-only blogs from RSS feeds. See Podcasting.

Back Links

These are links that take a visitor to a site or a page upon clicking. It is also referred to as inbound links. The more number of back links a site has the more traffic it can receive and it's importance rises in search result since it has information because of which many site want to link to it.

Biz Blog

A blog that is owned and operated by a business or corporation. For example: Wallmart

Black Hat SEO

This is a term used to denote a set of search engine optimization techniques, considered unethical and that which should not be used as part of the search engine optimization process. Practices like this include cloaking, doorway pages, and invisible text. It is a bit of a controversial term with people arguing that black hat SEO is nothing more than content creation, while search engines penalize it as it is contrary to their guidelines. Google puts out the Google Death Penalty to it.

Blacklist

A list of URLs that have been identified as spam URLs . These URls are then removed from comments and trackbacks on a blog.

Blinking

Also called b-linking" or b'linking. A synonym of blog hopping, You are considered blinking when you move from blog to blog by clicking on the links on a blog page. These links are normally found on the side bar.

Blog

1 ( Noun).Blog is short for weblog, where entries are made in journal style and displayed in a reverse chronological order. Blogs generally represent the personality of the author or reflect the purpose of the Web site ( niche). Topics sometimes include brief philosophical musings, commentary on Internet and other social issues, and links to other sites the author favors, especially those that support a point being made on a post.

2. ( Verb) To blog: To maintain a blog by posting text, links, images or other content, often using blogging software

Blog Administrator

A blog administrator has access to the blog's Settings and Templates, as well as the ability to edit/delete posts made by themselves or in the case of a team blog, other members of the blog.

Blog carnival

A blog post that links to other articles, within or outside of the blog, that cover a specific topic. Blog carnivals may be hosted by a list of frequent contributors to the carnival, working in rotation, and encourage new posts by those contributors.It is similar to a magazine, in that it is dedicated to a particular topic, and is published on a regular schedule, often weekly or monthly. A blog carnival also can highlight new bloggers that post on the topic in question. It should be mentioned that while blog carnivals are terrific way to create content, introduce new contributors, they can also be used unethically. Always be sure to verify that the content that is being submitted is indeed an original work and not stolen.

Blog client

An application that allows a blogger to post, edit, format and perform a variety of functions for a blog or blogs without launching a browser. Synonym of blogging client.

1. A person who creates and posts to a blog. Synonym of weblogger, though the latter is infrequently used.

The collective content of the blogs worldwide, taken as whole. Blogroach

A commenter on a blog who obnoxiously disagrees with any and everything posted, as rudely as is possible.

Blog feed

The XML-based file in which the blog hosting software places a machine-readable version of the blog so that it may be "syndicated" for further distribution on the web. Formats such as RSS and Atom are used to structure the XML file.

Blog Farm

A website constructed from a group of linked weblogs, typically with the main blog aggregating the total content/acting as a gateway.

BlogNet Awards

A popular Blog Award site where nominated blogs get awards and commenters are able to win Cash and other prizes

BlogRoll

A listing of favorite blogs and websites usually in the sidebar of a blog. Also referred to as link lists or bookmarks.

A large amount of blogosphere activity due to particular controversy. Also called Blog Swarm.

Blooger

Refers to a blogger acting like a teenager or in an otherwise immature or boorish manner.

Bot

This is the short term for robot, which is the software is used by search engine to gather information from across the internet. Search engines use robots to get details needed for indexing web pages.

Cache

Copies of a web page that is stored in a search engine database or in a user's PC. The purpose behind having cache is to help pages to load quickly making their access by users faster. This happens because the entire page does not have to be loaded from the internet, but is loaded from the PC hard disk drive or from the search engine database

CAPTCHA

CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart)

A security feature that presents an image that includes letters and numbers and by requires a user to type in those letters. Used to minimize and eliminate posting, comment and trackback spam.

Categories

Organizing blog topics by grouping related topics together to make it easier to find.

Cloaking

This is where Keywords and Meta Tags are used to direct search engine to sites or pages, not seen by actual site visitors. So, visitors see a different page and the search engine sees another. This is a Black Hat SEO technique and is deemed risky for use as those who take it up will be served the Google Death Penalty

Commenter

One who leaves a comment on a blog.

Comment Moderation

Allows the blog owner to pre-approve or reject comments made by visitors

Comment Spam

Unwanted comments that attempt to drive visitors to another blog site. Usually consisting of a few lines of text (usually unrelated to the post) and a link, often to a splog. These comments are almost always posted by spambots crawling the blogosphere. The links posted elevate the splog's place in search engine rankings and may also send unwitting users to sites that install adware, spyware or malware onto the browser's PC.

Counter

This is software used to track the number of page impressions or hits a site or a page receives. It indicates how much of traffic a site has received and if the ads placed in the site are effective as a result of being introduced into the site. This program is written using PHP or Java Script

cPanel

A popular web-based administration tool that many hosting providers provide to allow users to configure their own accounts using an easy-to-use interface.

Crawl

This s the process of visiting all site of the world wide web and is performed by crawlers or robots used by search engine specifically for gathering information from sites located on the internet. As a crawler crawls through sites, it indexes it and this indexed information is used in displaying results to searcher queries in search listings.
