Is Online College for me?

Have you been thinking about going back to school? Maybe you should check out online colleges, which are a great way to get a degree on your time, and still maintain the life you have now.

I started taking online college classes a little over 2 years ago and I love it so much. I go to Westwood Online and am working towards my BA in Criminal Justice. I am a stay-at-home mother who thought that going back to school would be too hard. Going to school online gives me the chance to do work when I want to and be at home with my kids. It's great!!

My Experience With Westwood

Iam going to tell you about the awesome school I attend online, Westwood College, because it is the one I know about! I will give links later to other colleges for you to check out (I don't know if they are good schools or not because I do not attend them!)
I started taking classes in May of 2006 at Westwood. I love the way everything is set up at Westwood. Now, I have never taken online classes at another school, so I don't know about them. I can do my work whenever I want to (but there are due dates for each week of work) Right now I am taking 4 classes at a time, which will give me my BA in one more year. That's a 4 year degree in 3!!
The textbooks and assignments are fun and easy to learn by. One thing I love is the discussion forums. Each week you have to answer discussion questions and interact with instructors and other students. This really helps with the learning process and the online college experience. Another great thing about doing school work at home is the fact that you can use the internet, notes, and text books when taking quizs and such. There is no reason to get a bad grade unless you just do not care!
I love the online college experience and Westwood Online. I am glad to share this information with everyone!

    Great Lense! Personally I could never stay motivated with a complete online college program but I'm sure it's great for a lot of people.

    Excellent lens for those who would like to earn online college degrees in whichever field they desire. The main advantage to home study is that you have that much needed flexibility allowing you to mould or rather sculpt your degree programme around your current life situation. Excellent work nonetheless.
