One of the Seven Wonders of The World, built in 1653, It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal as she asked him in dying bed to build something such that the world will always remember of their love.

<p><b>SNAKE BOAT RACE OF KERALA</b></p>
In the boat races, a boat is manned by four helmsmen, 25 singers and 100 - 125 oarsmen who row in unison to the fast rhythm of the vanchipattu (song of the boatman). It is an amazing site as thousands of people gather at the waterfront to cheer the huge black crafts as they cut their way through the waters to a spectacular finish. Many of these boat race festivals in Kerala have curious legends and myths attached to their origin.

<p><b>GOLGAPPA or PUCCHKA or PANIPURI</b></p>
The Indian mouth tickling favourite snack. It is a sort of sphere puff made from cereals, the ball(gol in Hindi) is punched from one end and stuffed with a mixture of potato,onion, & other spices. The ball is then filled with very spicy tamarind water.

<p><b>A RITUAL IN KERALA</b></p>
A form of Hindu ritual practiced majorly in south-indian states. Locals having their cheeks pierced with steel rods, a form of sacrifice to the gods.

One of the many beaches in Goa. Goa was under the potrugese rule until 1961, a mirage of which culture can be seen even now in Goa. It is the also called as 'The pearl of the orient/east'.
